TWENTY ONE DOLLARS , RON!! TWENTY ONE DOLLARS! When I first got the Bowies, I thought they were perfect, but I was just in shock by the price and the sound. The fact that it had noise cancelling at all was crazy and app support. My friends said they preferred the Bowie sound over Soundpeats Opera 5 and OnePlus Buds 2. It was an amazing day for sure. I got the Bowies, (pronounced Bo eee. Like David Bowie). These guys are into electronic things, and these buds seem to be a side project for them. I knew they were special when I purchased The Noratrue Airbuds for females really. Geared that way, orange suede and a pocket mirror to touch up your makeup. What was incredible even in those buds which were $40 that I also got on sale, was the SOUND in them. I was caught back. So....I ran to the bank so I could buy the Bowies.....But.....I've accumulated about 100 buds since May, and I'm tired. There aren't any I want anymore. I still don't have Sennheisers or Bose, but I do refuse to pay anything close to $200, especially since I find out they won't last that long. I've been wanting to ask you if there's anything you do to extend their life or how you might care for so many at one time. I hope you can answer me. I love to watch your reviews though RonOnTech, and I've learned a lot. Oddly I'm watching this because I was sitting there last night throwing a few earbuds in the cart that intrigue me (pistonbuds pro and Sanag which also have an MP3 player built in), and I couldn't resist. I just could not RESIST Earfun Air Pro 3 in PINK. They are set to arrive tomorrow morning. And lo and behold your head to head. So weird to me. The Earfuns are incredible. Yes, clean. I am literally an audio novice, but it's a very enjoyable hobby. When I first heard my Earfun Pro Air 3's stood out from all the buds I had listened to. And I started off with Sony's and Samsungs, the latest models. But yea, Earfun turned my head completely. So this will be an interesting match up. I feel like the Earfun Air Pro 3 should win, but the Bowies should win for value. They so close in my opinion. The Earfun's win for the polish.
To extend their life, I tend to use them on a rotation basis. I'll use a pair for few days, then I switch them out. That, IMO, extends their life (outside anything that may happen due to a firmware update). Thanks for the support!!
You should've turned ANC manually to maximum(10) on MA10, instead of selecting Outdoors. That would've been a proper comparison. It would've performed the same as the Earfuns I reckon. Good tests btw. The mic test are surprising.
Great reaction. For me 1 thing to add thats a key diff bet the two above is that the Baseus fits better in the ear, so for more movements or exercose sessions, id prob pick that one. ✌🏾
You leave the bass frequencies flat and increase high frequencies on your EQ settings, to each their own but you're losing out on a lot of the low end.
