Agreed! I love both of them and a huge fan but it's really off-putting watching white Europeans just shrug it off and pass it off as merely fodder for the press (which some of it was). Marc Jacobs' turbans were headwraps. Michele's turban WAS a turban. And he used a religious symbol as an accessory. Am I religious? No. But people have to expect the backlash. People are just as offended when crosses are used as fashion accessories. Did she say he was inspired by Sikh taxi drivers? Ffs, I hope that's not true...
