You've started with Supergrass' Wonderwall here, lads. It was huge, but it's far from their best. Try Richard III, Going Out, Strange Ones, Sun Hits The Sky, Moving, Caught By the Fuzz, Lenny, Pumping on your Stereo, Faraway.... etc etc. It's great you've got to these, though. A spectacular British band. Btw, you may find checking out Supergrass' Jools Holland and The White Room appearances gives you plenty of live material. 👍

I remember seeing their video for "Mansize Rooster" on the chart show back in the 90s & was hooked - bought the CD single that very day & all the Supergrass albums since. Like the list posted above - some great rockin' guitar tracks there - then there is the more subdued "Grace" and "Shotover Hill" oh and the mellow guitar bridge on "Eon" too. So much to enjoy!

How have you guys not done the Libertines yet? Arguably the biggest band in the country from 02-04. Id recommend time for heroes, can’t stand me now or don’t look back into the sun.

Richard III, Caught by The Fuzz, and Moving are ones that I'd recommend. There probably are others. This was a bit Indie band in their day that perhaps didn't get the commercial success that they deserved. I forget what happened to them, but amazing band, you'll love doing more of their songs I just know it!!!

Gerry Cinnamon was at TRNSMT (Transmit) which is held over 3 days and nights in Glasgow in Scotland at Glasgow Green every summer with top performers from around the UK & the World entertaining us . This is broadcasted by the BBC . Just 4 miles from where i live .

I sold their merch on the fan club your 05/06, was nuts!! One of the best live bands I've ever seen and I've seen A LOT!!! The drummer is very, very impressive

Yessss I loved them so much back in those days. That first album is truly incredible - so tight as a band whilst also having that jittery nervous energy. And I have a real soft spot for the second album too, although I never really followed them after that.

You ought to be familiar with Glastonbury - it's the largest greenfield festival in the world, covering 900 acres. Around 200,000 people attend each day. Much bigger and much, much older than Coachella, which has a total attendance of 250k. Glasto is the Mecca of music festivals and it's the pinacle of an artist's career to be invited to play there.

It's Glastonbree, like Bree in Middle Earth. That's a phonetic joke by Tolkien, because bree is how we pronounce -bury at the end of place names. A -bury, -burgh, or a borough comes from the Anglo-Saxon for a fortified enclosure or town.

Oasis headlined this year. I was there... The killers played in a tiny tent. Supergrass, an excellent band from the 90s mainly, replaced the libertines on the bill because Pete Doherty was off being a smackhead. I'm in this crowd. It was extremely muddy and had rained just before this so it may not be sweat

Richard III, Going out, in it for the money, Sun hits the sky, Late in the day, are all way better songs. Alright was probably the most popular song though and the one that broke them in the UK.

Alright is good there other really big one was called 'Moving' is chilled out like this but then dives into a bluesy rocking sound, also 'Pumping on your stereo' (nice little rocking song) and 'Richard III' (a more heavy fast paced song)are both great choices

A better live version of this for you to check out on You Tube would be T In The Park 1995. The single had just gone top 5, their debut album had gone to #1 so there was a tremendous buzz about the band. It was the hottest summer in years, the gig was in a tent that was so jam packed you could barely move and it really was raining sweat in that tent. Probably the best gig I've ever been at.
