Thanks for the videos! It is great to see you document your journey in this way. I have a piece of advice, if you don't mind. You are doing great, but you seem to make mistakes in your runs, leading to 10+ minute extra time. It looks like you run off a control in a wrong direction, especially when you are "drawn" by other runners, or the terrain. Use your compass! Instead of rushing off after a control, take 3-5 seconds to make an accurate direction check. For instance, leg 2 day 4 you ran 45-60 degrees off course to the right. Just make it a habit, when you are at your last known position, always take an accurate direction, simple as that. Good luck!!
Thank you, I agree that using the compass is definitely one my of weak points, i feel i tend to gravitate towards the easiest to run parts of the terrain then not check my compass and end up veering off the line, I will try to remember your advice for the future!
