Me too i was introduced to it only a couple years ago and started learning to DJ headhunterz was the reason i started and seeing him on the return was incredible now discovering and mixing his older stuff has been incredible
Richard Innis I found headhunterz three or four year ago when I heard the song dharma that he made with kshmr, slowly I drifted towards hardstyle and now it’s my favourite genre by far but I sure do wish I found the genre when it was popular however I was too young to discover music that wasn’t influenced by my parents

In 2008 this song was my first hardstyle song. A month later i forgot the tilte of the song but never the melodie. I searched 5 Years for the title of the song. Now i found it. 2:54 gives me a shiver. I ♥ this song so much. A true hardstyle legend.

Damn still remeber this song is made in 2007. I was in high school back then, copying youtube links to mp3 converter put it on SD and there you go. I miss those old skool Hardstyle days. Back when Hardstyle was Hardstyle. Still listening this day!!

theoretically yes. but in reality i feel sorry to say its not gonna happen. Even if the kind a style will be like this, the kicks will never be. The producers make much better quality these days so that awesome old school kicks will never be the same...
Well it probably follows the way its going now, the raw kicks getting harder and harder and the euphoric kicks will get softer en more mainstream. In between there will be some who keep making the "normal" hardstyle kicks, the quallity gets better ofcourse
