I believe he chose the colour orange because of the netherlands yes. Tbh hardstyle is one of very few things that makes me proud of my country...

Not really nationalist but more in the way that Hardstyle and Harddance music is really big overhere and was born here in the Netherlands. And with our national colour meaning it has an orange heart. Or you could see it like Defqon is the heart of Harddance so with it being in the Netherlands it would be the "orange heart" of Harddance

I think it does, but it is more about the roots of the music scene than specific pride in netherlands. In Scrap Attack, as you mention, they also use colors to symbolize countries involved in the music scene: Red skin Black eyes Blue blood Silver teeth Green wings Brown claws Purple tail Grey hair Orange heart They all refer to the countries and communities that have influenced and built the scene, and scrap attack seems to be about the loose coalition of the music scene. It is absolutely not about what a drawing of some creature would look like ( aka asdf www.deviantart.com/phlox13/art/Scrap-Attack-Colored-421364796 asdf). (edit: Had to work around youtube thinking brackets are part of a link, when in fact, domains like www.abc.com" (with the end quote being part of the .com) actually can't even exist and high school students solve this problem on their intro courses every year.
