@@jamalehoward7622 they’re aluminum and herd polishes them before they ship them out, that’s standard from the factory! They look cool too but that’s my opinion, I’m in the northern states so I encounter a lot of big game animals and the 5k for the bumper pays for itself with the first deer or elk or bear I hit with it.
Thank gosh that's all that happened to the truck; nowadays you have to be laser focused because of all the dipshits out there... Not long ago I was behind a gravel truck that kept wandering over the white line, so I obviously gotta get around this jackass and as I'm passing him I look over and he's TEXTING on his phone, unbelievable! Just goes to show you that anyone can get a CDL nowadays
The standard CAB doesn't include the toilet from factory, i wondered that if you had stomachache on the country side and there aren't any house or truck stop around, how to do? corn field??
Neither of these are custom, at all. Nothing about them is custom. I could order a brand new truck in the same spec, order the parts, and have an identical twin to either of these. Custom means you have the only one. Not a single custom part on either truck. The word custom being used so much, had completely ruined it for actual custom trucks. I used to really enjoy this channel. Quit with the truck shows, get back to building trucks. You know what would have been really badass? If you did 2 videos a week documenting all the work being done on the PDI truck. You know, that truck that was supposed to be done like 3 months ago? Boy, of I was PDI, I'd be pissed and want my truck back. Take it to a shop that will actually get it done in a timely matter
Thanks for the input cliff!! You know the Black 589 has a lot of things done to it that is in fact not available from the factory, look a bit closer this is a flat top cab with a stand up sleeper…. Right now it’s the only one in the country like that. Yes the PDI truck is taking longer but maybe that is because we have gone and done further custom work that was not originally planned and those things do take time.
@@jakebrake1326 I come from the race world where nothing just bolts on. Yes, with out a doubt I can take parts off and put new parts on. These trucks are just parts changers. I can build an engine, rebuild both manual and automatic trannys. Set up rears, chassis work, roll cage work, decent at sheet metal work. SFI Mig, and tig certified. Even have a paint booth on property. Like I said, nothing is custom, accept for the fiberglass work on the sleeper, which is a days work and not hard at all. Everything else comes in a package, you unwrap it and bolt it on. If you build anything out of a parts catalog, you do not reserve the right to call it custom. Untill you're cutting, welding, body working, multiple CUSTOM parts that you can't order, its just another truck painted a different color. You can do custom paint work, but that doesn't make it a custom truck. The word custom is just like the word racist in 2024. Its so overused, that its lost all meaning
Nicks BBQ is at Carlisle it’s pretty good. Y’all were in my neck of the woods. I’m off exit 123 on I30. One of these days I’ll get to meet you guys. I’ve stopped in a couple times but you guys weren’t there. Safe travels.
With what you did in this video is wrong. Man said don't film the truck you go ahead and film parts of. And you think that's right. This is the last video for me goodbye!!!!!!!!
They probably don’t have enough miles on them yet but I wonder if on these 589s using the 579 and 567 cab, if there’s gonna be rattling. Wondering also about if you’re gonna need Hood Skinz on these

I was watching a video where a millionaire was at the pumps fueling up a 2 million dollar car & it cost him $145.00 & he was complaining about it saying it was too much. After watching the start of this vid with you guys paying a gran to fuel up these Pete's, I have a new appreciation for the work that go's into making these trucks look as good as yours do & for truckers in general...
With the emmisions does it make using Pickett Elbows and and larger diameter pipes impossible? I see you have the beautiful Pickett Elbow and larger exhaust but running the weed burner exhaust underneath still.
