so just to clarify: - people were waiting in 1000+ queues at 3-7 AM EST for the star creator/dev/admin pumpkins - a good chunk of the reward items look like dookie even with them not being made by UGC creators - you can't get the previous voting rewards by voting for the costume category and there was no real indication you'd be unable to get previous voting rewards by voting for the costume category other than a small, forgettable line of text in the UI for the event rewards saying to come back daily to vote - the in-game power-ups are a way to get people playing the game for longer and the ways to get them are mostly the same thing (look for item by going through multiple of an asset one by one with an item you can only find at the entrance of the area where the assets you need to search through are) - usual chosen bundle + premium track advertising (at least it's not always a recolor and it's genuinely different items this time for the premium track) - several screw ups during the event (skull shards being moved/full on being removed from the map for example) - event itself was boring and only got propped up by the efforts of the games they included a portal to (a dusty trip and dress to impress are the main ones that come to mind on this point) what a disappointment. every time you think "ok the last one was bad let's see if this is a genuine improvement" it just. gets. worse.
the headless horsemen boss fight was the last change this event had to have something good go for it. really dissapointed rn. I wanted this event to be good 😭💀

i have low standards for roblox events. I unironically enjoyed the hunt and the games as much as i enjoyed RB Battles. but the haunt? The haunt is hot steaming shit.
