Great video! Your continuous sharing content like this will definitely help propel Webstudio to become the leading platform for web development. I am eagerly looking forward to a Notion tutorial.
Thanks! Can you please make an extension to this video on how to create filters for these posts in webstudio? Would the filters be able to see ACF data from WP?
Fantastic video! I have 100+ posts on my WP backend. My collection fetched 10 posts, I am not sure where I should adjust the setting that determines how many posts get fetched so I can fetch more posts inside the collection?
Check out the template in the Marketplace. It lets you define how many posts you want to fetch (50 by default) and includes pagination if the amount of posts in WP exceeds this number. If you still need help, hop into Discord and we'll get you squared away.
Popular WordPress themes and page builders have many ready-to-use website designs, which is why they are popular. Can you please add a few pre-made blog, e-commerce, and business website designs to Webstudio for non-designers-designers?
very interesting, I'm wondering if phase 4 'binding data' is somehow possible to turn into a node based editor or visual programming. because webstudio already seems to know all the relevant variables thanks to the JSON file. so the entire expression paths imported from wordpress could be displayed as an existing node map and the user would have to link their UI elements from webstudio to the nodes imported from outside, instead of typing these expressions 'data.data.something.something' Which are far less intuitive to people with no programming and database experience. by node based UI I mean, something similar to davinci resolve or Blender shading tab, for your reference.
It will be possible and we are planing to do it the future. Code-based expressions are important first step, because node-based UI will compile to and from those expressions and expressions will always be possible. Expressions are easy to share and copy-paste. Just like with any code.
