I love Tina and I respect her. I also appreciate her English accent. I am glad she stays close to her grown children. I wonder if her grand kids ever met their grandmother Tina.
Jason Gibson Tina financial supports her sons but she doesn't communicate much with them. Tina has met her 2 grandchildren. Her granddaughter Raquel said she doesn't know Tina as a grandmother. Tina had 2 great grandchildren she has never met.
@Jason Gibson, it's a stretch to call it an English accent. Tina enunciates her consonants more distinctly than most Americans but her vowels are completely American.
He was physically abusing her nonstop, when she had that abortion. I don't think he was even remotely surprised that she didn't have the baby and ike didn't give a damn about it . He treated her so badly use a horrible person to her. Ike never loved her, he used her as a meal ticket.
@@kamariatoure42Yes, absolutely🎯💯. Also, Ike recorded a song correct me, if I'm wrong. He wrote and recorded the song Annie's having my baby. Anne Thomas was pregnant with his child, Anne Caine was pregnant and Tina Turner was pregnant all of them were pregnant at the same time by Ike. Tina said she was so disgusted with the whole situation she terminated her pregnancy in 1968.
I had 1 opportunity to go a concert in Atlanta to see Tina perform and I couldn't I sab like a babe but I love Tina she is the greatest and the best love from Trini
This documentary overall has a few alternative facts. In Part 1, her and Ike did another hit early on after “A Fool in Love” with “It’s Gonna Work Out Fine”. Also, Tina had four solo albums in the 70’s, two after leaving Ike.
@@kamariatoure42 Yes indeed! “It’s Gonna Work Out Fine” was a bigger hit (both the 65th biggest pop hit of 1961 & 5th biggest r&b hit in America) and nominated for a Rock & Roll Grammy but it isn’t as remembered as much as “A Fool in Love” since it was their first hit record and one of the first really black records to cross over
Ann Thomas was the back up singer pregnant by Ike Turner how disrespectful to Tina Turner. Why no one interviewed Ann Thomas and ask her how could she disrespect Tina Turner like that. Being mistress to her husband Ike Turner
9:18 ~ 9:22 I hope I children didn't expect for her to stay forever and their father was physically attacking her and they really didn't show any aggression towards him because literally he had guns and also he had cocaine in the house so they ran from him so they wanted her to continue to stay with them so they can have luxury of having me in the house but they never protected their mother because if Tina was my mother and I physically saw her being beaten he would be in the hospital in intensive care because I'll be damned if I'm going to see my mom being beaten and I don't do anything about it thank God Tina left and she survived and now her story is an inspiration to women who are in abusive relationship or getting out of an abusive relationship
