The play of selling your chosen at the end, especially with 6 Disco in, was an impressive move. 99% chance I would have greeded in the same position because of how strong the vertical seems. WP!
wow, what a crazy game, i honestly wouldn't have seen that chosen illaoi angle, i probably would have been too scared to open sell chosen tf... that probably elevated your spot from 3rd to 1st. So much thought behind every decision. This was a near perfect execution, bravo.
I love the way you're talking through some of this early game play and how you're projecting for late game. Been playing since set 8 and i still learn from you through these vids and your stream
A top level player/streamer explaining his thought process while playing the game is what I was searching for, your content is very informative, please don't stop making the same. Thanks.
Thank you Frodan for this one 'cause I've just get back to TFT after around 3 years and now TFT are available on mobile in my region so I can play it again. Once again thank you so much for the content hopefully you make lot more of this typa content.
I think the most important part to know is just to figure out which units are better than which traits. Knowing which 5cost HL is better than which gold-trait to swap out is not obvious in most cases. Is it worth it to swap out 7 KDA if you find an illaoi HL to replace an Ahri? Is it worth it swap out 4 Dazzler if you find a Sona HL and remove a Lux3*? maybe it works, but if your board is built around EDM by that point, the Sona might not work with Jax, Zed, Zac, (jesus christ, i JUST NOW realized all EDM champions only have 3 letter names).
I was wondering if someone called him out on that cause he did a 3min analysis on the tomes when it was obvious it was disco with that 4 cost headliner in the shop
Beautifully played, the TF sell at the last stage was very good and very smart. I would have skipped it for sure and just accepted the top 4 I would like to point out some things though I would like to discuss: 1) the disco ball doesn't count for Best Friends as LeDuck discovered, so I don't believe it works with Unified either 2) You had the option to go Archangel's instead of Guinsoo on TF: do you believe Guinsoo being better or this set up or did you just miss it? I'm seeing a lot of top level players just slamming Archangels as as ramp option on TF much more often, so I was curious about your opinion on the matter 3) If you were to ignore the lobby you were in, would you value Best Friends' attack speed buff to synergize with the Shojin slam you did earlier over the Unified MR buff?
Archangel is better there in hindsight especially because i have attack speed from my trait, agreed. I missed it. There’s so many small details i could watch back in this vod and think “well how did i miss that!?” And yes I think best friends is worth and sometimes can help TF survive if units like Akali get to the backline.
Dude !!! AMAZING ! I discovered your chanel last week, this video is another Masterpiece.... your are taking time to explain and edit your video for people like me who want to ramp up.. GG . You helped me a lot your grind my Plat Rank. I love it. Just one thing ^^, for people like me who aren't english native speaker, please slow down a bit ^^, somethimes i have to play in 0.75x on RU-vid to be able to get your point ^^. Any Way , BEST TFT Chanel in the WOrld
thank you. ive been playing this game for 3 days straight but i cant play ot bcs i got no ropes to understand the mechanic of this game. and just recently try it on my phone. thank you ❤🎉
Pretty much Mortdogs words tbh. People went to level 7 to play for 4 costs last set and Mort said himself that they made level 8 the new standard for that
Maybe gifts from the fallen and sunfire is better. My thought is that if Kench's dmg reduction scales multicatively with steadfast heart then it's anti-synergy. Since TK has no utility outside of tanking you can backline all your other champions to have him take all aggro and pass down the sunfire
Chosen was the name of the current mechanic (headliner) that originally came from TFT Set 4. Some of us still accidentally keep saying chosen because its ingrained in our brain ...
As someone who didn't play the set where it was actually called Chosen, I really think you should just call it Headliner so newer players aren't confused. It's the same thing with people calling Duplicators "Neekos", it's just distracting trying to convert that to the correct word in my head.
Wtf is chosen, aren't they all chosen? Ok, I looked it up and it's still not clear, so if I buy a chosen, that means they will show up more often once you buy them? Isn't that a headliner?
