Fire episode of Moving Differently indeed! The show at Echostage was a vibe. The entire team smashed it! Tita slayed it, James slayed it, just legendary. I would love to see a bit more about the behind the scenes of the sound system and FOH elements. I have always wondered what kind of consoles/speakers yall are using and prefer, DB levels yall are hitting, what you like on stage, etc. With these long vids you could def sneak in a minute or two for us nerds somewhere ;)

Brooklyn Mirage / Avant Gardener is like home to me. I'm very familiar with the venue. Their main PA is the VHD5 series from KV2... It's thier flagship system. They switched from a combination single 18in sub and dual 21 inch subs to just double 18 in subs from KV2. (I loved the double 21s they made the air move). Not sure the spl targets for every show but I've seen 110 db-c at FOH. It's a very capable system. The sound Console changes often. Sometimes they use a Digico mixer or Midas anolog mixer. Lighting they use a GrandMA3.

I heard they were endorsed by KV2 and got the rig for free? Do they still have the KV2 dual 21” subs in the indoor warehouse venue?

@@prefix808yeah they were sponsored by KV2. they still have the double the 21s but they dont use them in Avant Gardener either. They use the single 18s indoors. I guess its a space thing as the stages got bigger after the video wall upgrades. I did see they were using the 21s in VIP sections in BKM. Dont know if they were on or not.

@@redvivid According to KV2's website and the specs on the dual 21" (VHD2.21) and the dual 18" (VHD2.18J) they have similar response (34hz at -3db on the VHD2.21 and 32hz at -3db on the VHD.18J). Of course, tone is everything and 21" can have a deeper "feel"...curious to hear from them on why they went this route. I've seen the KV2 reps show up on some of the bigger shows, but that was over 4 years ago.
