Dude... I was just trying to find out how to set my audio correctly for binaural beats because a different tone has to go into each ear to create the 3rd binaural beat. Someone told me to set the equalizer to 'FLAT'. Is that correct? I thought you were going to go over that in this video, but I have no idea what you were talking about. lol. What's the best setting for Binaural Beats?
This is really a production video, to help you get the most from your pro-level headphones. If you can find yours listed in the links in the comments then you could try to follow along... if you are using off the shelf ear pods or similar, then yes probably setting your EQ flat (so all the EQ faders are in the middle) is probably the best bet!
@@bongumusicntuli491 I don't understand the question. So I explain. FabFilter decided for whatever reason to use their own q to bw value. So, on every platform you can download correct AutoEQ values, which can be used as is in nearly every EQ there is. Except Fabfilter ProQ. Specifically for Fabfilter ProQ you need to compensate the Q values in order to create a correct profile based on those downloaded AutoEq Values. I own many EQ Plugins, all of them using correct q to bw values except FF ProQ. I'm not sure what the exact compensation value is as I don't use FF ProQ for that reason. I suspect that the Q Value could be also varying per octave as far as I'm concerned. FF is cooking its own soup obviously. Just use a different EQ. 😉
@@bongumusicntuli491 You mean FF ProQ, not AutoEq? ProQ is the only graphical parametric EQ I know of that has incorrect Q Values. Factor 1.41 might be correct, but as far as I remember this factor could be vary over the whole spectrum... This is another reason I don't use FF ProQ.
I feel like Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 250ohm bit too much on bass, I play Hunt:Showdown and sometimes hard to hear people sneaking up, sometimes impossible to hear, will this help? I tried dolby atmos EQ but it just muddles the sound stage too much.. Im not an audiophile and I don't know how to set up eq for fps games
Nice video and well explained! can I use two TDR nova plugins back to back and adjust frequencies like that? TDR nova only allows 4 eq spots in free plugin.
You can use Equalizer APO on Windows Systems as a Systemwide EQ. It also has an inbuilt AutoEQ Database. But it works only for your standard Audio Driver, not ASIO.
