I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Aries Skylar I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Finally a video where there isn't a guy who says it's very simple, I use my ..... guitar that goes straight into my qts via usb with the interface into my computer with the software into my cabinets hooked up to my SLB2 but I have swicthed off the rd2d and the panel in front of the looper with the 16 cable method via Headrush control. Well you get the picture.
Hello. Great Video! I'm thinking about buying a Headrush Pedalboard, and I can't help but wonder, why is there so much background noise? I mean you can clearly hear it in the review. I know it can also be influenced by the guitar pickups, but I had a similar problem with a BOSS GT-100. Is there any way to get rid of that noise, except through a noise gate?
I see you have the master all the way up. What levels are you using on the outputs and amp models. I have this board and trying to dial it in to use straight into the PA. Thanks for any input.
Great video! Love your Treadplate tone. Would you mind sharing how you dialed it in? Whenever I try to use the Treadplate model, on my Headrush, I just get a flubby swarm of mosquitoes tone. Thanks!
as you can see , when the volume on the guitar is full up, the distortion is hard full clip, harsh and not full range. This is also an issue with Helix. They need to fix this to have the pedal board warm sounding and good separation between strings. I hope the developers put out a patch to resolve this!
Bravo! Everything we want and nothing we don't want - thanks! I like the quote of Shine On You Crazy Diamond ;) You didn't demo into a stereo amp - and what DAW are you using? What's it like interfacing with the DAW? Thanks in advance from Montreal!
what amp and guitar did you use? this sounds better than a lot of the demos on this pedal. Anyone have it, how does the tone compare to analog pedals? I hate when things get too digital but this sounds pretty awesome.
Great tone is not the default in the Headrush. More like an easter egg you have to hunt for, IMO. But it does have some great sounds. The JTM 45 in there is a really great model. The plexi 50w and Fender Twin as well.
"More like an easter egg you have to hunt for, IMO"..... that pretty comes with the territory no matter what what gear you have. But for a multi effects unit worth a grand, I don't really hear anything new under the sun.
How can anyone expect any developer to know what "your" sound will be? I by now have not found any amp or modeler or whatsoever that did sound out of the box like I wanted it to sound. You will always have to either play along with the options, or play acoustic guitar. Factory presets are may be nice to show what is possible, but never will these give what you need on stage or studio.
Awesome demo ! I wish we could create and use a special script on RU-vid which skip every talking part in guitar videos, especially gear reviews ... No one wants to hear informations we already read on Google before going on RU-vid.
I have no talking on my own demos but always wondered if it actually hurts my channel. The biggest guitar youtube channels seem to consist of a whole lot of talking and barely any music ;/
Does it have a switch under the pedal so you can activate the wah/other assigned effect by pressing down on it? And is the pitch effect customizable by semitones?
One of the COOOlEST riffs i've heard in a long while (at 1:23 and 1:50); just what 90% of what present-day Metal is lacking: REAL RIFF WRITTING!!! Great demo!
This sounds great through my computer speakers. Can you tell me does it feel and sound like a real tube amp live? My past experiences with the HD500 have left me jaded. I'm hoping to get rid of a couple tube amps and a pedalboard. I play mostly old school blues/funky/classic rock stuff and love the warmth of tubes but I"m open to "letting go." Thoughts?
There is a problem with the wah wah effect. I have the same board and was looking for other videos using the wah. When using the wah I notice a slight dip in volume as well. Don't know if this is going to be fixed soon, but I hope so. I want to stop using 2 boards.
flabens best demo of headrush was done by the one and only Pete Thorn, see and u will agree. Although that man can plug his guitar into a dead badger and somehow find tone. Lol
For people asking for comparisons to the Helix, et al., WHAT do you think this sound like? All these units sound different. This seems to have the most organic/analog sound as far as amp models go. I could see using this for DIRECT recording and practice. I have loads of tube amps for live application. However, for an album I recorded last year, I ended up using SOFTWARE based amps, after the producer convinced me to give it a try. Note: I started my home recording adventures with a Fostex Porta One and a Tom Scholz Rockman back in the 80's.
Great demo. I had to work with mine for a while to get the sounds I liked to play it live through the sound system. It sounds great in the overall PA mix, full and sweet!
I wonder if you can help me out. For some reason I can't get a really good sound out of my headrush. I know I have something hooked up wrong. I am running through the front of a combo amp. And it just sounds so so. All the videos are getting much better sounds. I don't know if it is the IRs , cab sim, the amp/direct line out or what. But I am doing something wrong. Any suggestions?
Hi, I don't have the unit but from what I understand, you should plug it in the return of your amp Fx loop (if it has any), and turn off the cab simulation. If you are using it in front of the amp, you'll probably want to use it as a "regular pedalboard", i.e. don't use any amp and cab sim, just overdrive pedals and effects.
Nice video.....Does anyone else find that the waH sucks the tone out of your sound? I am probably just not finding a good setting with the shine OR the black....they are just so thin that it's not even worth using...any ideas on settings to thicken and warm it up? I have failed many times at finding a good one for either
I really like the touchscreen and general ease of use of this, I love it just for that - but the £1000 price tag doesn't quite sit well with me. To me the sounds are ok but they're not a cut above anything else that's a lot less money so maybe that's why the price seems a little high. Not getting that "TAKE MY MONEY!!" impulse that I thought I'd get. At a guess I would've put this at around the £500 - £600 mark tops. Great demo though! :)
Kris Sambero why is it some people think nothing of spending $1000 plus an a bloody cell phone yet when presented with a beautiful piece of complex hardware/software like this, they claim it's too expensive. It's mind boggling :/
Kris Sambero -the headrush gigboard is scaled down-(no wah and less switches) but same 7inch readout with same effects etc and is brand new in box on Reverb at $549 ,,,,”” got both and kept gigboard and returned full size one and am COMPLETELY satisfied,,,just sayin
I was like yeah I bet the wet effects are great but I bet I'd have to go elsewhere for dirt. I was happy to be wrong. Very helpful to hear it through the amp input as well a through the return. Pertinent info. I was gonna say I just need it for work but..lol i can tell I'd end up playing with it a lot too. Looks like all kind of fun. I enjoyed this review immensely.
Really appreciate the demo and most importantly the not speaking element. This leaned me towards not purchasing but was on the fence. All the amp mods just lacked bottom. The clean sounds were nice however.
I tried on out of the box and it never sounds anything but horrible into a combo amp. All distortion is extremely hard clip and irritating. Whats the secret?
Hello! Do you know how Can i get less latency when changing AMP channels ? I use Rig mode with 4 cables method and a midi cable to switch my 100w Revv tube amp...3000 euros spent and get a Big latency ! There should be a solution ! Factory reset? Setlist mode?...Please tell me there's one othetwise i'll sell this unit i was full of Hope! 😥
Is your firmware updated? There were people on headrushfans.com (which sadly no longer exists) who had that issue until they updated the firmware. I'm not sure if the boards ship with the latest firmware or not at the moment.
Thanks bassa...i've just get it and the Guy who sold me has told me he did the update (2.1 firmware)...and i know it's true cause i've checked and there're the new added effects of the update...I've already asked a guy who's name is Marco Fanton about the amp switching channels latency when using midi(very good italian guitar player on youtube who makes demos of the Headrush). He's said to me the midi was very bad on the Headrush and the problem that i couldn't use it with scenes...with scene it could have the problem but it's sadly not possible! I want to sell the headrush now and buy an Helix lt instead!
Seems great as a studio pedal, but doesn't seem practical at a live venue. I don't need to spend time pressings buttons from one effect to the next especially if it has to be done fast. Other than that, it's quite impressive sounding!
Has anyone that has one of these (or used one) found the Wah pedals to be a little shallow? I don't know if there is a way to calibrate or adjust the range on them (yet) ...but I do have it in full function mode (not just opened or closed) ...just seems to be brittle and thin all the way thru
Yes, but not a 'small' one. You still need an amp, to get the sound, in the room, so you need like 30 watts and a 12inch speaker. Thats what makes these things sound 'real'. I have line6 podhd.
I have bought many of these effect & amp simulators in my life because I love jamming with all those tonal variations, but they do tend to sound rather thin a lot of times. If you’re ok with that, but are inspired to play by all those tones then get one.... :0)
Great demo. sounds great and great playing. Not sure I'm ready to leave my Line 6 POD X3 Live. it gives me all the guitar stuff, bass amps and vocal preamps.
Had one for a month. Hated it. Maybe I didn’t know how to properly set it up but it’s not as easy as it looks, the noise gate sucks and is very artificial. Also when you switch between channels there is a delay, like if you had a clean part then had to put in a distorted part, the delay would be so bad
Can someone tell me what the big deal about this thing is? How is this different than any number of multi effect units that are out there? How does this compare to the Line 6 Helix ?
To answer your questions you lazy fuck: Q: Can someone tell me what the big deal about this thing is? A: Choice is a big deal. It motivates manufacturers through competition Q: How is this different than any number of multi effect units that are out there? A: Cheaper than Axe, Kemper. Same price as Helix LT. Q: How does this compare to the Line 6 Helix ? A: Price. Looks. Ease of use.
well it's another multi effect processor yet it tries to project itself as boutique with its expensive price tag!! but like no further zoom g5xn whoopes this expensive ass
