I personally picked up and delivered this car..it was beautifully done. It actually made me 2nd guess the build i got done. Its the best bag for your buck for sure if you want that kinda power.
mine has almost exact same mods but can't tell what lower that one is running. Getting picked up on the 18th for tune, meth and p3 from RPM. Can't wait
I made these exact numbers on port injection 964/884 but 20psi with same mods except I have 80 upper and 9.2 lower. I know port isn’t needed for unless 1100+ I just didn’t want to run meth and wanted to just fill up with E only. Tuner said he kept timing lower in mid range to keep internals happy.
Awesome video! And great numbers! I can't wait for my C7 to get up to you guys for my appointment in April and get it back! As for the price of their packages buy nice or buy twice I'd rather have the piece of mind knowing the quality these guys produce in the build and tune then saving a little money and running into issues down the road.
Love the up beat music and wrenching and dyno runs...action baby wooo Let em have it Fran, love you guys..😂 good shit, as usual I still wana know why your red Vette breaks superchargers.. I know kind of random, but just thought of it and figured id ask
Question; does anybody ever worry about the guibos (couplers not an ethnic slur) on a high horsepower upgrade like this? My first Vette was a C5 Z with a Procharger and meth kit running 10.x PSI boost. Around 600 WHP. It was upgraded as it passed through a few owners and when I got it the engine was as described and the T56 and diff had been rebuilt by RPM in MD after it lost 3rd gear. Somewhere in all the work someone worked on the TT/prop shaft and when I was putting around, one of the guibo bolts almost fell out. Either the aluminum threads were stripped out of one hole in the prop shaft (most likely) or it was not tight enough with not enough blue Loctite. Had to pull the rear cradle and all that to fix it. I vowed at that time to rebuild the TT correctly on any transaxle Vette I disassembled to that extent. In this case I found a 3.5" DSS aluminum prop shaft in stock locally and installed new bearings (not replaced the first time) but that changed the character of the car. Above 1800 RPM the car vibrated, not terribly pleasant for a road car. I just rebuilt the TT in my C6 Z06 while it was split apart to install Monster triple, Magnuson Heartbeat, etc. The guibos are available from Euro car parts houses for $60. The bearings are available for $100 (good Koyos from a bearing house) and I already bought the tools to work on the TT. A gallon of blue Loctite later (don't skimp on that stuff) I'm as confident as one can be in the parts and labor. Still I wonder about the power handling capability of the guibos and I never see them mentioned here or on other channnels like Late Model Racecraft. 1200 crank HP and the guibos are still okay? I have a curious nature and as easy as rebuilding TTs are, they're a lot of work to get to when you're a shade tree mechanic like me.
Hello my friends! Can some one say me, how much hp is possible have on this car and stay N/A? Capacite of this stock engine? And what do you prefer? Hight stage N/A or SC?
Sweet. See now I’m struggling. I’m buying a C7 Vette over the next year sometime-i was planning on getting a 2019 ZR1 but the ZO6s I’ve seen you do lately I’m getting into. I can save some money on a 2019 ZO6 vs the ZR1 and pay you guys to do this type of thing and still have an insane car. So what do i do? Seriously I’m confused now? I could put the ZR1 spoiler on the back.
Personally I’d go ZR1, they’re very very uncommon and hold their value and they love mods. But if you’re going to go straight for performance for the dollar I’d get a Z06.
@@RaceProvenMotorsports that's awsome on pump and meth with fuel lobe on cam getting to 900 is easy. I'm guessing pulse width b er low 5.5 when still on 93?
Great build Fran, did it make 627 baseline stock? I thought the C7 zo6 made in the mid 500s baseline? Do you also recommend that I zero out the vvt degrees retard in the high baro table for a C7 stingray 8 speed on e85 and exhaust and nothing else done. There's some crazy high cam retard in the lower rpm and cruising areas.
Will the thrush bearings be okay at that power level everyone says the lt4 can handle tons of power but bearing always break hit or miss ???? Thoughts anyone ??? I want to do my bottom end so I don’t have to worry about it even at 850 -950 wheel
We personally never had an issue. A bearing is only as good as the tune. If the car is detonating and beating up on the bearing it won’t last at any level
I used to think that too. But when you live in Florida the bright colors look awesome for some weird reason. I’m originally from NY and would never get a bright color up there but here in FL they fit in better-black looks horrible here and it’s dirty in 4.5 seconds. I have a Black TRX , Black Durango Hellcat with a little red on it and a 50th anniversary Daytona Charger Hellcat that is B5 Blue with a little white on it. Everytime i take the bright blue car out people always come up to me and the car-the others nobody notices or rarely notice especially if they’re dirty which is 5 minutes after washing here.
