Replay!!! I love headsets and very undervalued in the wedding ceremony and corporate speaker world. Especially, when compared to cardioid lavs when they get out of the pickup pattern and head movements.
Biggest issue we have are the times it is just a bit too far forward and plosives, air-blasts (from nose or mouth) and other things cause the occasional sour-sounds. And breathing - heavy breaths are enhanced by being too far forward or even at the sweet spot. Compression helps this stand out even further. Expanders can help but makes the voice a bit un-natural.
My issue is beards. Our pastor went full Calvin with his and rustle is a big issue 😆Any time he nods or shakes his head the beard gets caught if it's too close. Any tips for dealing with this? Currently we run it around outside his beard but I see a lot of people with it right against their skin through the beard.
Guys, as a wedding DJ I've ALWAYS wanted this style headset so I can be hands free while introducing the wedding party and or any other formal announcements, how can I achieve this without feedback (considering I'm fairly close to the speakers.)
