it gets affected by the wind because in space there is no wind. so the engineers didnt have to think about wind when designing it

Parrot Swing's are awesome for the price. Once you figure out that flies better outdoors in quad mode. plus u can use the app to change its tilt settings to give it greater angle to slice thru breezes. My kids and I have a blast with ours.

I wish every idiot out there would learn to stop throwing these aircraft up in the air like that. They just stall. A straight ahead firm but not hard throw is all they need. Same with the air hogs X-wing. I've got plenty of great flights out of both. A gentle touch does the trick both on launch and on the controls.
