when untamed was released, it was so bad you were griefing your teammates to play it. Glad to see Anet could make it powerful while maintaining its griefing playstyle. XD
Nice to see Emi on RU-vid. I think gw2 is in the best state between dps, support and heal builds as of now. Almost everything seems to be viable. Nice video Emi-chuwan XD
Thank you very much, it's honestly really reassuring to hear that! When I wrote the initial script, it ended up being almost 15 minutes long and I ended up cutting out a lot of fluff. It was starting to sound like a boring college lecture, lol! I'm happy with the final version since it's concise but still covers a lot of specific scenarios that a 3-4 minute video wouldn't be able to.
I'm here in the game with my graphics turned ALL THE WAY DOWN and Emi is still completely blinding me with huge flashes of light. I CAN'T SEE THE BAD AOES ON THE FLOOR LMAO
Yess, I drank the Untamed juice only 2-3 weeks ago and I've been addicted ever since. I've always found the "ambush" mechanics to be really fun, since it's almost like a mini-game when playing the class. Used to play a ton of mirage for that reason, but unfortunately heal mirage is not really a thing, ahaha.
So our raid leader send me your video to "convince" (read bully) me into liking my Druid (as I normally main Virt.) because: "it's a worse version of druid, that probably makes you work harder for less rewards". Jokes on him, I absolutely love this heal untamed build and now he's stuck with green goop every Friday.
Brilliant idea - I never knew this could be very functional! BTW what is the name of your outfit? I fancy dresses that have short front side and long back side. Your character looks amazing in it! ^_^
The weaponmaster training definitely is carrying this build! Staff on ranger is such a fantastic healing weapon. For outfit (Medium weight): Royal Pointed Ears Winter's Presence Heart of Koda Swindler Gloves Viper's Leggings Mist Shard Boots Celestial Ministry Cape All of these dyed with some combination of Permafrost, Glint's Isolation, and Cinders :D
So i have noticed that heal ranger builds i. General uses axe main hand but why not sword or dagger? I find the movement on sword to be really helpful sometimes so i am just wondering out of curiosity
Good question! Honestly main reason is that it's ranged. Range in GW2 is weird because most everyone is stacking in melee range for boons, but at the same time, having range for spread mechanics or when you're off group is still a big advantage. Axe is definitely the weakest weapon for support rangers compared to staff and warhorn, so swapping it for something with higher mobility is fine IMO.
