@@TheCabCabMan Not sure if it’s cool with Dr. Osborn for me to share on his video, but the link is in my profile. Feel free to delete this comment if you want Doc. 😬
90 minutes very well spent. I've shared several clips with friends and now you have a new subscriber. Most disease starts in the gut. Prescription free for 50 years. If man made it or messed with it don't eat it. ~ Jack LaLanne
After being diagnosed with Hashimotos, I’ve cut out gluten, soy, sugar 98%, processed foods, alcohol, dairy ,bad oils & coffee. It’s been a huge change and an even greater challenge when traveling. The challenge is that I’ve lost TOO MUCH weight. I’ve added necessary supplements and naltrexone in order to get the thyroid inflammation under control. Im gently detoxing my liver, healing the leaky gut. I’m better, so much bette and still trying to identify the roots.
I am following your protocols and I have been feeling so much better, no meal piecing now, having hashimotos diagnosed at 40 and then I have diagnosed a skin inflammation disease, I have been taking lots of supplements, detoxing, sauna, weight exercises for 2 years now, and love walking my dogs. I am also now taking homemade tumeric paste but I still am having rice and it is in my coconut milk. I stopped taking levo for thyroid when they would not let me into the doctors as I would not wear a mask, that was the final straw for me with the medical system and I started more natural therapies and stopped the medication, I did put weight on but that is coming off over the last two years as well, my BMI was only 25, not heaps. It was hard at first, our society is taking so many grains and processed fooods, no wonder every one is sick.
I want to say that since I've "gone organic" my health is getting better. I just FEEL BETTER. My grocery budget had NOT changed, I have eliminated so much 💩 from my shopping. Never hungry, not missing anything because I feel so much better. 😍
Exactly! A number of doctors laughed at me regarding leaky gut. The short version of what that meant for me was a series of useless diagnostic surgical procedures, ER visits, toxic prescriptions, and numerous radiological tests. I suffered as the result of complications from a cholecystectomy that caused a partial ileus and bowel loops. After years of painful twisting of my small intestine, I developed leaky gut which after a few years caused dermatitis that presented as a full body, extremely itchy rash again and again along with swollen eyelids and much suffering. An allergist finally validated the permeable, leaky gut. I now avoid verbal abuse by doctors by self treating and keeping my mouth in check.🥺 Many of the areas of the body affected by it that you mentioned are problems I have been dealing with.
Perhaps, one day honouring the memory of researcher in 1920’s physician Dr Edward Bach, discovering connection of intestinal toxemia with chronic diseases . Thank you.
I got the jab and felt general stiffness. 4 months later got the Covid. 2 weeks later experienced swelling in my foot and fingers. 1 month after diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The only thing keeping it at bay is carnivore (6 months) Still in pain, but was much worse eating fruits and some vegetables.
Watch the Oxalate in veg and fruit, get Sally.K. Norton’s book “ Toxic Superfoods” for complete information and lots of interviews on RU-vid with her on the topic.
Another great video for those who have a chronic illness or who just want some tips on maintaining good health. Covered so much ground in under 90 minutes.
Thank you Dr. Osborne for such an informative video. I have a daughter who was tested (small intestine in hospital along with me) She is Celiac and has been off Gluten for about Three years now. Her body was not holding onto iron, apparently, she was not holding any nutrients. Thank God a hormone Dr. actually found the problem and as we were both tested, I am gluten-sensitive. You have no idea, how much this video has meant for us both and should be for, all people. I sent your video to my daughter so she can see your products with the offer to get another test if she or I can do so. I love knowing there is a place called, Gluten Society, and I appreciate all your work on this video.
Dr. Osborne you are amazing everything you explain is what I have been dealing with most if not all of my life I hope I can figure out how to reverse this before I pass at least you give me hope . Thank You Sir .
You are asking the wrong person, did it ever occur to you after watching this video??? You will have better luck with a dietician for leaky gut, it was her who diagnosed me with leaky gut... So I went to a new dietician (one who just got a master degree in nutrition) and she was useless. I told her of how my previous dietician diagnosed me with leaky gut and how I wanted to start here as reason why came to her nutritional consultations. To my surprise after reflecting back to her response is that she knows nothing of leaky gut and was just putting me on a diet without taking leaky gut into consideration... I will change dieticians: to one who talks to me what she knows about leaky gut and tells me her concrete plan of action before listening to any diet or anything else. I have had it with listening to doctors who do nothing for me in the long term. (I am allergic to all foods except for 5 or so things, so diets don't work for me... My food intolerance went 70% down with leaky gut treatment which is a healthier and more nutritious lifestyles. Not found in a pill but real time and effort to eat more nutritious foods) My previous dietician was off pocket costs while my new one was with insurance, good luck if plan to find someone under insurance. I am looking for nutritional not the things they offer me... A dietician who talks even a fraction of what was mentioned in this video would be an ideal person to go to for leaky gut.. listen first to her suggestions if teaches you or not. You asked for testing for leaky gut. I have not yet heard of one but know of a very simple one. If eating gluten gives you symptoms, then consider having leaky gut. Reflect back if have damaged your gut over the long term, if can say yes then even more likely have leaky gut. Finding a person who treats leaky gut is challenging here where I live since it is not something taught in school to my observation based on what my new dietician said and numerous doctors I have asked for the past year.
Hi Dr. Osborne, I'm new to the channel. Thank you very much for the shared knowledge. You, as well as Dr. Robert Cywes, were very important in my understanding of nutrition. I confess that I was surprised by the issue of gluten in rice, as it is a cheap carbohydrate and very tolerable for me (I buy an organic brand from family farming here in my region). I've tried to be purely carnivorous, but meat prices are high and I miss carbohydrates. What other sources do you recommend? I have already cut out sugar, trans oils, dairy and gluten (except corn/rice). What do you think about legumes? Here in Brazil, beans and lentils are quite common and delicious. Waiting for the translation into Portuguese. If you have the option of adding coherent captions, it would help a lot, as this is a market hungry for concrete information. Greetings.
What a FANTASTIC presentation! The best "in depth + clear + educational" video I've seen! (And I've seen quite a few!). THANK YOU Dr Osborne! I love your "no nonsense- tell it as it is" approach. Makes you listen up & take notice & realise this is an important topic that needs to be acted on! ❤👍
I must've missed the part about vitamin D being absolutely vital to healing intestinal permeability through regulating zonulin, tight junctions, the mucin layer and dysbiosis.
Yep and funnily enough low vit d was the only thing my GP could find that was clinically wrong on my blood tests. So maybe that is my answer to heal. I hope so! And changing my diet cutting out all foods bad for the gut that only improved symptoms, but did not reduce my leaky gut. So hopefully vitamin d supplementation as well will help.
I love your work and diligence Dr. Peter - I called your office. I work in Nutrition Science in a Holistic Pharmacy Allen, TX Do you mention testing for Calprotectin? My physician a Functional Rheumatologist has ordered it. Is the fecal sample the only reliable test? My Labcorp draw is in the a.m. 08 20 24 if you see this. Praying for your reply.
Hi Dr, I’m a subscriber for while and I love your videos, help and support I haven’t had gluten for years!! I just developed Dyshidrotic eczema on my hands and one of my inner ear… thinking it’s my gut that is causing me this as I have so much acid/heart burn:( I eat VerY healthy/exercice.. no process food no dairy. I got steroids cream it’s not helping much now I got a prescription of Alitretinoid 30mg, so worried to start it🥲with many side effect What shall I do Dr? Please advise me Thx so much
I have been getting terrible heartburn/indigestion and gas not moving causing terrible pain. Probably caused by stress and variable diet! I was taking Psyllium with Marshmallow root and Betaine Hydrochloride before meals but now finding success with Mastic. You can chew the gum but I empty two capsules into water on an empty stomach and the pain has subsided considerably. Also drinking marshmallow root tincture, 30 drops in water 3 times a day because that healed my bladder from interstitial cystitis and. I believe heals all your tissues. I think this may be the solution for me, hopefully!! Namaste 🙏
Thank you so much Dr. Osborne! I listened to the entire podcast and it was very very helpful! I’ll be listening to your other videos as well. Thank you!!
Hi Dr. Osborne 👼, please cover pancreatic insufficiency 🙏. Is it permanent? Why no enzymes on any diet? If alcohol induced, how to heal from it? Need to take enzymes forever?
You can become fascinated with civilization, with fatal consequences. Briefly;) Anyway, this will be my first time watching the movie for the second time. Expanding my knowledge because I don't understand some terms.
Are beans, nuts and legumes considered grains? If so, what can you eat since all foods (fruits, vegetables, etc) seem to be contaminated with pesticides... Please give solutions or alternatives. This is depressing!!
Were you eating the meat with carbs? Meat with sugars causes glycation, also it can pay to have something with a little folate (aspaugus/avocado) to reduce homocytiene(if you don't have trouble with histamine from the avo )
A lot of “grass fed” meat in the US only has to be grass fed for the last 30-60 days of its life. Better to find fully grass pasture raised if you can.
I’ve been reading questionable things about the Berky water filtration system. I believe the company sold. I’ve used a Berky for years. Apparently it’s the filters that are in question. Some test for arsenic. I’m switching to 4 Patriots water filtration.
