HEALER POWER RANKING TIER LIST - Party Finder [FFIXV 6.21] 

All healers in a coordinated group are S++++ tier. All of them! But when you're in party finder? Well... it's the Wild Wild west.

Scholar just feels better than sage for me, the only big thing sage has that outshines scholar is the ability to shield on the move. The fairy just makes a whole lot of difference, its literally a healbot and can be positioned anywhere which makes it quite tactical. It would be extremely amazing if in the future one fairy was a dps bot while the other was a healbot, and whichever fairy you used changed the way the skills associated with the fairy worked.

I’d love to see which combinations of healers you find the most fun! I love playing Ast/Sge because there’s just soooo much healing. And whm/sage during 8 makes stomps and bleeds so trivial 🧐🥰

For pf I 100% agree and I prefer whm/sge personally for pf mostly because whm doesn't rely on your partys performance which will most often then not make or break ast. Why I find sge my preferred choice is mostly since I do not have to care that much about the positioning of other team members (kerachole vs sacred soil) and everything applies instantly no animation delay it's just there when you press the button and that is fantastic. Especially when you run into team members that dont like to stand in your bubbles, or as I experienced running away from my lilybell *sad whm tears*.

Amazing timing, thanks for this. Just yesterday I was thinking I'd start maining barrier healer for this tier, but was worried about carry potential since I mostly PF. It's nice to hear the perspective of someone who's played every healer.

The tier ranking is intriguing. I’d rank WHM S-tier, Sage A-tier, and SCH and AST maybe B and C. It’s hard because AST benefits from coordinated groups more so than in PUGs, but it also has more healing tools in PUG. AST is especially rougher on controllers. Also, I know there are some issues with MCH but I find it silly to include it on the tier ranking still. It doesn’t help the community perception including it here, there’s already MCH’s being excluded not because they can’t clear but just groups blocking them because of what they heard

It's funny you mention overheal on astro because when pfing astro that is usually when the cohealer will try to chad to make me solo heal, but the divination complaint is totally legit. Same for needing to use light speed for damage/res instead of movement. But the reason I like sage better is if your party including your cohealer are slacking on mit, there is nothing you can do as ast. Last tier I was a little late on collective unconcious in p2s and that resulted in a party wipe because no one including the cohealer wanted to mit and I couldn't spend neutral sect because if I did we 100% were not surviving coherence 3. That is when I switched to sage because sage healing is generally good enough to carry slacker regen healers and sage mitigation is amazing. But on sage I cannot stand glarebot whm cohealers. I understand being hesitant to use gcds but at least use your ogcds. I do not understand why there are so many whm who are too lazy to use asylum, aquaviel, temperence, etc.

As an AST main, XD yep, most people heal over my ticking star. Heck even my co-healer in PF. Hands down WHM is just S tier in terms of healing power. Nice ranking! gg

im a lvl 72 sch/sam main. i keep wanting to try sage cause laser guns go pew pew, but you have to be more active. i like that sch is more laid back because when those emergency situations come im more calm. maybe that's just cause im more comfortable on the class tho.

Tanks can be 100% cooldown adverse! When I whm I am forced to give all my afflatus on a tank who gets trucked by a TB. P7s is like the worst for it. I’ve had tanks that pop cds after the TB thinking it will help with the bleed, but it doesn’t because the dot snapshots your mitigation on TB! One time I was forced to cure II spam because the tank was getting hit harder than I could heal. PF can be suffering

I'm a healer main, but I've noticed that I pay way more attention to rotation as a DPS then I do as a healer Astro is my favorite, but some people said when I'm on Astro "it honestly looks like your a bit confused on what your supposed to do" And I reply, "I'm sorry, I have everything going on in my head and the moment we start it all vanishes so I just wing it" Been like this since Eden, I've tried fixing it, so far nothing's changed

Yee I gotta agree with the tier list AST has a really awkward time on pf, because a lot of healers don't understand their kit and don't know how to coheal with them properly(myself included). The thing about sge that I love is that fixing people mistakes is kinda easy, if you don't really need to top off everybody in 5s, but ye I've been wanting to pf to help other groups get their clears, but i can only imagine it'll be a lot of pain because we ain't melding piety rn, so you're mp management has to be on point pretty much during the whole fight and people(dps and tanks) have to actually mitigate so it doesn't sucks for ranged or casters. Also I've been thinking about trying out new healers on high end duties(I only play with sge rn) so I can understand more what my cohealers are doing, so this video actually helped me to decide which one I'll be going to try next, so thanks for that cole

SCH/AST are better in statics and WHM/SGE are easier with randoms

I think sage is the best in early weeks of savage because you have mitigation as well as pure heals. Later in the week I think whm is better - easy mp economy, can brute force any incoming damage and do big damage at the same time.

i've only played whm and a bit of sage for healer, but i have to say for pugs my fav healing partner is a good scholar bc it means i hardly ever have to cast big heals - they seem to be very good at shielding most of the dmg. sage are also sweet partners but i've found them to be much less consistent in PF. also prefer no whm partner bc it's hard to predict what the other will do and overhealing happens a lot haha. dont see a lot of astrologians.. havent really formed an opinion

I have a slight disagreement on this. I believe astro has an edge on the other healers with their mana regen with the cards that makes recovery much easier. Honestly I feel like a mana battery in most fights.

I find SGE in the pug world is AMAZING…. Until the second you fall behind, and outside Pheunma (however you spell it) you really can’t recover. Ya whm is brain dead, I can carry most any glare mages I find in PF. Still love my sge though ^^

As a whm/sage mainer, I can say that sage feels much nicer in pf than a white mage, because random whm is the worst thing that can happen, although no. In pf, the worst thing that can happen is sage and a sch, for some reason this combination in pf is just terrible, because people don't know how to play with two shield healers in a party

Kinda explains why I see so many WHM in the PF parties. I main WHM since I started the game so I was so damn confused that for the first time since I started PFing stuff I am having a hard time finding parties (since most people prefer One Player Per Job). Thx ❤️

i disagree with ur sage, they should be S tier. i never had any issues in pf with sage and i feel they are even better then WHM cause of that.

I, as the main sch/sage, can say that I hate pf whm (97% are glearbot, they only think about their dps). I prefer sage/sch(permanent mitigate) or ast/sch(classic).
