I loved how you described both sides of the healing process...there's the good the bad and the ugly! In my brokenness I have learnt that it is so important to have a close set of community of believers who you can be vulnerable with, and who will support and inspire you to get back up!
Omg! This is a mirror image of my broken engagement. Although I'm pretty sure he had narcissistic traits or extreme insecurities. I feel like I had those same conversations with God and I could see my ex fiance spiritualmy uprooted.
Lulu B hey I am almost 4 weeks into my break up/next chapter. One day at a time it gets a little easier. We become a little more resilient and God has taken away this distraction that hinder us from being our best selves or stagnates our spiritual and personal growth.
I recently called off my engagement and this is day 4 after I did it. I'm so torn and keep asking myself if I made the right decision. It's a roller coaster of emotions for sure. Hoping to get clarity about my next steps from God because I never thought of my future without my ex-fiance. Thank you for your testimony.
I'm really sorry to hear that and I know how scary it feels moving away from someone you thought you'd spend the rest of your life with. If God led you break it off then trust that you've made the right decision. It does take time for your emotions to catch up. In time you will heal and look back on this as a beautiful part of your story. God will guide you through 🙏❤️
This is just like my story. I did not know what to do because I felt like God brought us together. And I was lost at why He wanted us to break up. I changed myself too just to try to keep the relationship afloat. Being in limbo was the worst thing I have ever felt. When I ended my relationship I felt peace but it did not come with days of grieving.
Oh sis. I am in the same boat. My fiancé broke things off a month before our wedding 4 months ago. He was having trust issues with me (no cheating or anything like that) and he said he didn’t know if he would ever be able to trust me again. We are a spirit filled Kingdom couple put together by God. We did have some communication issues but I believe satan divide what God was uniting for His Kingdom. I believe one of us got out of alignment but my God can and will restore us back to each Other after we have both been healed delivered and transformed into being the godly spouses that He created us to be for each other and what a powerful testimony and ministry we will have after our restoration and reconciliation for His glory.
Thank you for sharing. I am going through a very similar experience. I feel as if it is the end of the road. But I am still waiting to here the voice of God for what he wants me todo in this situation. Its heartbreaking when you hear a word and recognize them as your significant other for it to only go so far to encounter falling out of alignment, God use to work the same between us too so well. I've come to listen to this cause I called off my engagement and I feel terrible..it's been a week now ..I just felt like I wasn't ready, I want even sure about the person and I felt God telling me it's not my season yet ..I feel terrible, at times I feel like I made a mistake but at the same time , I feel am not ready to be married yet
Hey there, I am happily single...and while there are options available it's about choosing who is right for me. It does feel hopeless at first but as you heal, your hope will be restored.
