Sharing my takeaway notes 📝 Miracles 3: Healing of the Paralyzed John 5:2-14. * Jesus repeatedly told the man to pick up the mat (in front of the Pharisees) in order that the paralyzed man break free from the binding law. I. Do you want to be healed? V6 - Our desires matter to Jesus. - What are you pursuing in life? * Sadly the man’s faith lies on the human help and on the myth about an angel stirring the pool. II. Who is the man who said to you “Get up, pick up your bed and walk.”? * Difficult but not impossible things that Jesus ask us to do: - forgive - honor III. Will you stop trusting in man and in religious myths and put your faith to Jesus? - Be free from “This is the way it has been for many many years” thinking. God bless ☺️
