At our local cathedral last year, they celebrated a healing mass, the priest anointed everyone with oil on their head and hands. At the end of mass, the sun was pouring through the windows and reflecting on the white painted wall behind the tabernacle. The shape of the light onto the wall was unmistakably in the shape of our Holy Mother as She looks like on the miraculous medal, and next to Her on the wall was also a small round shape, which looked like the Eucharist floating. It was all like a reverse shadow. I do believe this was a signal grace. I wanted to take a photo but wasn't going to pull out my phone during mass. It was amazing.

As we are of a certain age, it becomes a little more difficult to achieve healing wouldn’t you say? but we pray and continue to ask pardon and make reparations for those who are no longer with us to ask for forgiveness.

The healing is a little more difficult as we aged, but as long as we do the best we can like praying for reconciliation, offering Holy Mass, etc., we know that God will do the rest. We have a very understanding, loving, forgiving and merciful God, our trust in Him will continue till the end of time. Thank you for sharing, Karyn. Prayers for you.

This is such an interesting topic. Issues in my family that people “sort of discuss” but never in a meaningful way. I agree with Fr Ripperger that behavior goes beyond genes. As the oldest generation of my family, I see behaviors repeating so it is definitely beyond the genetic realm. Interestingly just yesterday I went to my parish office to have some masses said “for my intentions “. At this stage, I believe that’s the most effective thing I can do plus refer back to the wonderful talk from Saturday June 22, 2024 by Fr Mark Baron. God bless you LDM team. Fr Chris I am adopted My biological father is also adopted Both biological parents are deceased. I don’t know any of my 4 generations . I do know on birth mother side her parents were into black magic and tried kill Her and apparently curse me in her womb to die I was horrified hearing this
