I have been watching your videos for years and I am so thankful you took the time to make this video! You have put so much hard work into this journey and you didn’t have to share this with us but you chose to be transparent and share! Thank you for this
Yes please post your meals for the day. I'm so inspired to start my journey. I'm very similar to your starting "condition". I want to lose the weight so much. I have a history of yo-yo dieting and finding the motivation to start again is so hard. I would love to try a weekly meal plan from you.
I would love to see a what I eat in a day video. Those are always super inspiring, because as soon as I try to plan anything "healthy" I instantly forget everything I like to eat or can make.
I absolutely love that you focus so much on how good you feel now and all the things you can joyfully do and aren’t focused on getting the surgeries and such to just go for appearance ❤❤❤. And working through your pain wow great job. Bring in pain is hard and I want to acknowledge your work there!!! Your bucket list for motivation and celebration is genius!!! Your food tips in this and other videos have helped our fam thank you!! Best homeschool RU-vidr!
I LOVED this video! I wanted to cry at times too. I’m sure it’s hard to share so many details and I hope everyone who comments is kind bc I am SO THANKFUL for this video and all that you share. So happy for you :)
This is the most helpful and honest video on weight loss topic I’ve ever watched! Thank you for sharing so openly about your journey! Congratulations on having your hard work and efforts pay off! 🙌🏻🎉
Thank you for your transparency and honesty and vulnerability. I am where you were and suffering from the plantar fasciitis. Has that improved for you now? I hope so because that is one of the worst pains ever 😫😫
Thank you for sharing your journey! It’s an inspiration to all of us mamas! I turned 40 this year, and was seeing my body gaining without me changing anything. I started eating more protein and bam! It’s amazing how it helped. I’m down 30 lbs and so glad I began taking care of myself. So proud of you, I’m inspired to do some weight training! ❤
Another PCOS baddie! 🥰 Thank you for your transparency and for sharing some amazing advice Jessica! I too have struggled to lose weight with PCOS, and also fearing the appearance of my body and loose skin. I've felt hindered in prioritizing my health. But my kiddo is five now, and I've got the PCOS bog and I'm sick of feeling like I don't have the energy my baby deserves and that might be the motivation I needed!
Awwwwesome video! Thank you so much for your honesty and transparency!! It’s so amazing all the life improvements you’ve made. I would love to see a what you eat in a day! Please make that video! I would also love to hear if you’ve/how you’ve dealt with Mom guilt in making yourself a priority. ❤
Hello Jessica! I’ve been following you years, and just love your content. It’s been great watching you grow and develop yourself. You are a huge inspiration to me, so thank you for sharing your health journey … I cried with you as you became vulnerable ❤ thank you for sharing your story ❤️❤️
Love this! And so happy to hear about your journey. The transformation is incredible and I love how educated you are in this area (as a former trainer) and cheers to you for doing it the old fashioned way- med free! You look amazing, but the joy is radiating! So so so happy to hear about your success 💗 from one pcos sister to another! Well done! Keep going!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for sharing this. So encouraging!! For drinks, I have grown to love True Lime drink mixes (Watermelon is my favorite), Zevia, and Bubbl’r. They’re all so good and have pretty clean ingredients.
We definitely need a what I eat in a day video! Also on my health journey and the part where you said about how feeling strong is your favorite because you spent years in a body that felt anything BUT strong....that hit me, girl. Instant sobs. Thank you for this video 💜💜💜
Thank you so much for being so candid. It is greatly appreciated at a time when people only want to show the “perfect” side of things. I have followed you for several years now and from one homeschooling mom to another, I am so proud of you! You continue to be an encouragement on many levels. Cheering you on from the sidelines as I continue my wellness journey well❤🎉
Thank you so much for this video. You are so inspiring. All the hard work that you out in over the last few years is really amazing! Thank you for sharing your story. I do believe that you will help a lot of people. ❤❤❤
Such a great video. Love seeing someone else feeling the same way about not worrying about a number on a scale and more about how you feel and look. Would love to see a video of what you eat in a day are week. Been following you for years. Love all your video that you put out.
I'd love if you would share any special recipes that you like... for example, the pudding. Do you ever eat cottage cheese? Thanks for sharing all these ideas and being transparent.
If it helps you out, Amazon sells self-sealing cellophane bags. I've used them to portion out the snacks for my family. If your on board for the work to portion things out, buying in bulk saved us so much money.
You are so inspiring. Our stories are similar in that I'm a similar weight to your start weight, I have PCOS and plantar fasciitis, and I lost 50 lb even! But I gained it back when depression hit and I'm so upset I did. I hope to lose it again.
@@TheWaldockWay I, honestly, love the food/snack recommendations! I have a hard time filling my protein needs, because I just don't have time to constantly cook or prepare food/meals for myself. So, even just the things you recommended in this video were super helpful!
That was so encouraging and just what I needed to hear right now. Thank you for being so transparent. I also had a question...is Emily in a commercial? If not, it is her twin.
I started my fitness journey in March after a miscarriage. I've been loving the Choczero candies as my occasional splurge. I love hearing about other peoples journeys!
Thank you so much for your transparency and sharing all of this. I am where you were and trying to get on this journey successfully. One BIG take a way that has resonated with me is just pick 1 thing and do it. That's a great idea. Baby steps = long term changes. One question I had was how did you arrive at your calorie and protein number and did you use a counter? Like now did you keep track? I also wanted to do the "keeping the body moving" so thought about the walk in place exercise routines. It's hard to keep this body moving as you mentioned. The mind is willing but the flesh is like an anchor. Thank You! 🙂 ❤
My coach Kristen gave me the macros (calories, protein, etc.) I use My Fitness Pal to track my food. I have a Samsung Fitness Watch to track my activity. Thank goodness they all sync to each other 🤣
This is so encouraging! Id love to know how you've talked to Emily about your weightloss. Im afraid to bring it up around my children. I'm also afraid of what to say when well meaning people comment on my size change in front of my girls 🤦♀️ 😢its a big reason i keep panicking on my journey
I am very intentional about saying I'm getting "healthy" I make a point to emphasize how strong and good my body feels and try to not get hung up on the "scale" or a "size" but I also know my journey has taught her skills she will grow up with now like how to properly read a nutrition label or how to nourish her body with food or how movement helps pms symptoms. Things I didn't know until my mid-thirties.
Thank you so much for your vulnerability and insight! You have motivated me! Do you mind sharing your macros? Do you do anything to help flavor your water?
I will share my macros, but please keep in mind they are personalized to me. Calories:1764 Protein:163 Fat:59 Carbs:146 and yes I do flavor my water but only after I've drank 40 ounces plain (this is just a personal challenge)
Jessica, this video was absolutely amazing! And, although I’ve watched & loved your homeschooling content and have also been a customer…THIS was my favorite video to date, as your heart and passionate story lit up the screen. 👏🏻 Two questions - Did you have an eating window or did you start & stop eating at a certain time? And, just for fun…has it improved your libido? Lol…😂Thanks so much !!!
My eating window is when I wake up to when I go to bed 🤣 Like literally the minute my feet hit the floor I'm downing my pre-workout apple sauce and I typically eat my dessert in bed just before I go to sleep. I like food too much for restrictions of any kind 🤣 And YES my libido and my confidence improved which has made quite the impact in our marriage 🤣❤️
Kristen (my fitness coach) gave me my macros. She recalculates them anytime I hit a plateau which has only been twice thankfully! And I track all my food in My Fitness Pal.
It went up, but it's an unfair analysis because that was the same time grocery prices increased in general. So I'm not sure if it was just inflation or eating healthier. Either way the way I feel is worth it!
Loved this! Thank you. I’ve loved following you for school stuff but thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I’m already doing a lot of what you do and you’ve given me even more ideas. 🫶 I got started with grow with Jo to get in more steps in the beginning too. I still do them sometimes because I think they are fun. I’d love to see what you eat in a day video.
