Kudos to your team. But insurance company was right at first time. Even after explaining from hospital and your team they were not agreeing. This is not right. Ultimately they agreed due to pressure of Hp team. This shows sector is still not mature.
Agree... Insurance company is in fault in this..after the apology from hospital.. in this case they should be fine..as on the other part they are threatening the patient for the termination of policy..
Many times hospitals also get involved in the fraud claim ... So it's not easy for an insurance company to rely only based on the email if it's a mistake... Hence I think when it was given on stamp paper, the insurance company was ready to accept it so that in future if any problem arises then the insurance company can fight in the court of law to sue the hospital and insured

You have mentioned ask your hospital not to send short forms to avoid confusion & jisse apne ko samajhne me easy ho. But in forms we just only need to tick in the correct box, right? Also, when the Insurance desk forward the form to the Co, are we given a duplicate copy of the filled up form along with documents annexed for our records before forwarding for claim?
