welcome back everyone, this isn't going to be a crazy makeover but a necessary clean up of certain areas on this property. This particular neighborhood in my is filled with elder and retired people so I took some time out of my day to knock on doors to see if any of my services can be of services.
I asked this homeowner if I could clean their property for free and at first she was kind of stand off-ish at first because she couldn't understand why someone would be do work for free lol, that was a reasonable mindset but I explained to her that I'm just trying to help people within my community which ever way I'm able and she started to cry because she said it was the nicest thing anyone has done for her In quite some time.

The lady sounded like someone's sweet grandmother. Thank you for helping her out! Love the weed eating in the ditch (now the water can flow more easily) and along the fence line. Glad you were able to prune around the trees and remove all the unnecessary brush. So glad you took the tree down at the hose. Wish you could have removed the other one next to the house. The roots could cause a problem. The shrubs look so much better as does the fence with all those vines gone. It's nice to see the world is gaining more people like you...those willing to donate some time each week to help others. Together, we can turn the world around! Again, thank you!

As you knocked on the front door my mind went right away to how unsafe it was for her hidden behind all those overgrown shrubs, it was so nice to see you make the front entrance safer for her. DJ you do a very such a nice job, that was a whole lot of weed whacking and you never wavered taking it across the finish line for one outstanding and completely awesome makeover. Her home is shining example that not all who knock on the door are scammer and in todays world men like you are a blessing. Bless you. Did anyone else see those antique riding mower?

The grass wasn’t that crazy, but what you provided was the icing on the cake! Cleaning the grass along the fence, around the trees and the house, removing vines and trimming the bushes, and wow, the curbs😳😳, just overall a wonderful facelift! Vast improvment! The fact you edged at the road when there was no curb is a first for me as far as I can remember in watching lawn videos. Hardly anyone does a curbless trim. Bravo. Toobad the house needed work too. the shrubs were almost unsalvagable. Still you could see they tried to keep it mowed themselves, so kudos to them. Great vid, great work.

Thank you so much for including trimming the overgrown bushes in your projects. The pruning you did is going to allow so much more light to get into their house - which in turn can save them money during the longer days of the year bc they don't have to turn every light on to see well/safely.

Very nice transformation! The customer could use some help I wish Habitat could help them with their home. I sold my home because I knew the repairs would be too much for my retirement money. That was years ago never imagined a pandemic would cause everything to be even more expensive. I’m thankful for you being able to help those in need! God bless you. I truly admire what you do from the kindness of your heart. I know the edging of the street part was very long, but you threw me off with the grass clipping, putting it back in the yard. Other than that, I am was astonished at the detail that you paid to the bushes near the front of the house. You made the space more open and safe for the couple. Anything on a fence line will eventually tear down the fence by pressure, whether it be a ugly vine, or a beautiful ornamental bush or tree. You did a great job of trimming them.

This lawn looks amazing. The shrubs and bushes that you trimmed or cut down made all the difference in this lawn. Going back to mow the lawn put the icing on the cake. So very nice what you did for this couple! We go to our aunt& uncles house every month to Savannah, Ga ( from Central Florida) to do their yard and clean house. they’re Physically in a mess, . They have no one, one son murdered and other died from SARS . Just trying to stay in their home as long as they can. You do it all so good so I can’t think of anything else you could do!
