CARROT CAKE PROTEIN MUG CAKE!

Super healthy but above all deliiiiiiiiiicious
Especially with some protein icing on top - or just some yogurt? All you need to make this are a handful of simple ingredients and a few minutes.
The recipe is on page 171 of the new Protein Pow cookbook by Anna Sward (available in bookstores worldwide) which has a whole chapter on mug cakes!
Ingredient amounts (in cups - head over to the site to convert to grams though!)
1⁄2 tablespoon cashew butter
1⁄4 cup ground almonds
1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup
2 tablespoons almond or rice milk
1⁄8 cup pea protein powder
1⁄2 teaspoon mixed spice 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 small grated carrot
1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract (optional)
Macros per mug cake? 194 kcals, 10 grams protein, 16 grams carbs, or 21 grams fat.
Notes:
1. Add some pecans or walnuts to the cake to make it even more delicious!
2. Free free to make this with grated zucchini instead of carrots - you'll end up with a zucchini bread mug cake!
3. If you want to make this with whey, you can - just sub half of the whey with extra almonds to ensure the end product stays nice and cakey!
