Im a muslim love your videos and how devoted you are to your religion in Islam we pry 5 times a day and that helps us with a lot of these habits you mentioned, its also a time of relaxation and forgetting the hustle and bustle. Love your videos it has helped me a lot
Love the tip about doing something meaningful after work. I think if you have time, doing it sometime during the work day can be impactful too because then you don’t have to feel like you have to wait until after work to do something meaningful (example going for a walk or calling a friend during your lunch break)! ❤
The 30 minutes of me time in the morning tip and the do one meaningful thing after work tip are really great! I already strive for me time in the morning, but I’m also going implement one meaningful thing after work. I’m a new mom with an almost two year old and all of these habits will still be so important when you’re a mama.
Michelle Reed mentioned once that if you have dishes to put away or some mess to clean up that will only take you 3-4 minutes to just go ahead and do it and it’ll save you so much time later on. I’ve been doing this and I agree!
The one meaningful task will multiply. I do a load of laundry a few times a week, walk about 4 times a week and cook way more often. Plus prepare lunch for the next day. I have managed to drink a full glass of water before my coffee. Also cleaning little by little during the week helps so much so my weekends aren't spent just cleaning. I'm changing my eating habits too. 🙂
Re: your tiktok goal… my husband & I have set passwords for each other’s screen time limits. That way when we hit our social media limit, we have to ask the other person to unlock more time (which is way less convenient than just ignoring the limit). I’ve cut my screen time down significantly since doing this!! ☺️
I love this video and how you explained each one and why it was important to you because we always hear work out more often, or eat cleaner, etc. but no one ever talks about their personal journey in an uplifting way if that makes sense. So what I’m saying is I appreciated it haha. My goals right now are to spend time with Jesus each morning and night (devo, word, journaling, prayer; sometimes it looks like one of these things or a combo), the goal right now is to work out two times a week but I’d like to increase to three in time, and then I also want to spend 30 mins reading a book that’ll grow me. Right now I’m reading Made For This Moment which grows me in leadership and in self-growth in general. 😊
A healthy habit that I am recently following is - to do a single work at a time Ex no phones while on the toilet seat No tv /phone/ talking while having food, eating mindfully. This is all very hard to follow, but atleast I try to do it as much as possible Like having at least any one of the meal without distractions
Loved this video, Rachel!!! I started cutting out refined carbs and I feel SO much better! It’s really not as daunting as it seems. I think I remember you mentioning making a what you eat in a week video as a low carb person. If you still plan to make this, I would loooove to see it! Have a happy Monday! 🫶🏻
Hey Rachel! I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your content on healthy habits. Your videos are informative, engaging, and motivating, and I always come away from them feeling inspired to make positive changes in my life. I love how you cover a wide range of topics, from nutrition and exercise to mental health and self-care. Your tips and advice are practical and actionable, and I appreciate how you incorporate scientific research and expert opinions into your videos. Moreover, I admire how you present a balanced and holistic approach to wellness. You emphasize the importance of listening to your body, finding joy in movement, and cultivating a positive mindset. Your message is one of self-compassion and self-improvement, rather than perfectionism or shame. Thank you for creating such valuable content and helping your viewers lead healthier and happier lives. Keep up the fantastic work! Greetings from Turkey, MEL
These are such great tips. Love how you incorporate faith in these, too. Love the 10 Minute tip (like doing the treadmill, which can then lead to lifting weights).
I really enjoyed this video! I recently started waking up at 6am to have my quiet time in the morning and it has been so amazing for my health! I will definitely implement some of these habits💗
Love this video, especially the advice about doing one meaningful thing every day after work! I'm trying to implement stretching 4-5 days a week because I'm only 27 years old, and my lack of general flexibility, esp. hamstrings, is concerning lol
New sub here, this video really inspired me. I did a full self-care routine this morning and put on my favorite lotion and perfume and also did my makeup and put on my jewelry. I work from home and I'm not usually on camera but it just made the day feel special ❤
@@RachelVinn ommmmmmgggggg the person i love on youtube has replied me... ooo god....❤️❤️❤️ i m soo happyy ... as its my frst day of periods you made me soo happy thankyou soo muchhh @rachel vinn❤️
Drinking green tea with no extras like sugar or milk is my healthy morning habit (when I haven’t fallen off the wagon lol), it wakes me up & gives me a good detox feeling. I’m also in the process of converting my spare bedroom into a workout space so I can buy a treadmill. Which camera do you use? I’ve recently decided to pick up photography and try out vlogging, I purchased the canon rebel t7 but indoor videos aren’t great, even with all my lights on and unfortunately my house lacks natural light, but your videos still look great! I’d love to see how you go about deciding what or how much to film in a week and how you piece it together in editing.
Very well said video… i want to ask 1 qt about my skin.. whenever i am using Niacinamide or vit C my skin is reacting and a big red patch comes and then slowly it disappears. Please can you advise what should i do for the same? I am 39 yr old.
I have 2 kids and i work 40hrs per week and barely workout 2-3 times a week.. having kids changes everything 😭 you no longer have time for anything.. you won't ever sleep the same ever again.
Same. Lol my kids are teens but between working full time, we homeschool, taking care of the house, pets, groceries, making dinner etc. I'm lucky if I sit down by 10 pm. Before kids I was a gym rat, slept 8-9 hours at night etc. Kids Def change things.
Same. Im raising my son alone. So Im working, cooking, cleaning etc all on my own. Then have to fit self care in there? At the end of the day I’m too tired to function. 😂Also my som is home with me because I can’t afford daycare. So working from home full time and having a toddler run around is hard 😂
i love these tips! been trying to read the bible too in the morning or afternoon. what book are you reading in the bible? are you following a bible reading plan?
Having a passcode protected time limit on social media apps is a game changer! I had my husband set the password, so he knows it and I don’t. When the time limit goes off, you have to input the password to get more time - this is the only thing I’ve found that actually works for me!
One of your best vidéos rachel you have been improving a lot since i follwed you ❤i hope it's my turn soon i really try and struggle every day to put my life toghether and to the next level but still stuck and you chitchat made my night to keep going til i make it bcz i'm also lazy and negative person most of the time but as you said we need to push our selves as much we can so thank's i love you ❤❤❤
Okay so I have adhd and I found that the Opal app (iOS) blocks my apps so well! It's subscription based but I think it's very worth it. I am constantly blocked from my time waster apps (I set the time limits/cooldowns on my apps through Opal) and I find myself investing time in other things. I think it's very helpful so check it out if you have issues staying off of certain apps :)
