Today I am sharing quick and easy things that I like to ingredient prep in order to stay on track with my weight loss!
Today I am making pickled onions, turkey burgers, breakfast burritos, salmon, and veggie mix!
pickled onions:
1 red onion
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 cup water
salt & pepper
turkey burgers:
2 lbs 99% lean ground turkey
2 eggs
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
seasoning of choice
breakfast burrito filling: this made 6 burritos that were 5 points each!
310g shredded hashbrowns
diced peppers
diced onion
8 eggs
3 oz reduced fat mozzarella
2 slices bacon
4 chicken sausages

Your veggie mix idea hit home for us some time ago...We don't do it every week but we do more weeks than we don't... I just did it about 2 hours ago...Zucchini, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms and chopped garlic...Always tasty and goes with everything...Tomorrow with freshly made crabcakes.

​@@NikkiGetsFitI have tried it a couple of times, but I did struggle with that spice combo, making it so that it would fit with everything, regardless of whether I did a dish that was Mexican or Mediterranean

Food prep is key for me to stay on track with WW, plan I follow. It does take some planning and time but worth it to be successful.

Instead of zucchini I use slaw mix! I use Hearts of palm from Trader Joe instead of rice! I love all the bowls in your cookbook! I love the simply potatoes too. I love your grocery hauls!!

I have added so many new foods to my meal prep! Thank you for all your ingredient and menu ideas. You've taught me to be more creative in mixing different foods together. I didn't even know what edamame was until you said you liked it. I add it to several bowls and I love the texture of them. I make your veggie mix and eat it in my bowls all week!! I also love the banderita shells!! So much better than the cardboard ones. lol!!!!
