Quinoa mint pulav is Navratri special food as all people are observing a fast and it is a good time to make a change in our diet. Mint helps to increase metabolism rate and Quinoa is rich in iron,fibre and proteins as compared to normal rice.Quinoa is originated from Bolivia and Peru. Quinoa aids weight loss since it contains less carbs and high fibre. It is also available in online stores so that you can buy it .
Ingredients..
1. Quinoa (cooked)
2. Mint leaves
3. Coriander leaves
4. Green chillies
Procedure(How to Cook)..
1. Grind the mint, coriander
leaves and green chillies by adding some salt as per your taste and water.
2. Now keep the pan on stove and add 1Tbsp butter and let it melt.
3. Now fry cashews in butter and keep them a side.
4. Now add dried red chillies, jeera and mustard to the remaining butter.
5. Now add grinded paste and extra mint if you like
6. Add turmeric powder and cook until it becomes thick consistency.
7. Then add Cooked Quinoa and mix well.
8. Add fried cashews
