I am an Engineering Undergraduate degree student, and I tend to get really stressed out. Watching your incredible videos really motivates me to keep working so I can have a nice kitchen like yours and achieve this level of put-togetherness!!!
Wow, happy to hear my videos have been able to motivate you in a positive way when it comes to healthy eating and getting organized! 😊 Can't wait for you to create these healthy snacks because I'm sure they'll come in handy come exam week!
@@elisamarro7356all of these are keto friendly…oats are the only grain (mostly gluten free) and you could replace with more nuts or almond flour. Maybe do some research on keto?
😂 I grind my own Nut Butters at the grocery store. No oil or sugar added. It is much thicker No Dripping! I add a few drops of STEVIA extract. You can add a little organic Coconut oil if you want a creamy texture. So heart healthy.
Your meal prep videos helped me shed my baby weight after my daughter and get healthier with more thoughtful meal choices and here I am 6 years later watching again to get back in the swing of things. Thanks for all your knowledge and kind voice!
@@sherrillaizicowitz8526 This tells you what time within the video she shows each recipe. It's helpful so if you don't want to watch the whole video again to find out how to make the tuna meatballs (why have I never thought of these??) you can by sliding your finger to that time at the bottom of the video. 😊
me and my husband are huge snack people, and we’ve recently switched to the healthy side. today i bought everything to make these snacks and made them all, i am so happy! wish us luck, we’re completely new to this and just switched out everything in our home to cut out bad chemicals. 🥰
Love this video!! For the bananas, you can put the almond butter/chia seed mixture into a small sandwich bag and cut a hole in the bottom to squeeze onto each of the banana slices. Much easier and less messy. Can't wait to try all of these recipes!!!
Any time I’m working with nut butters or honey, i put a thin coat of coconut oil on the utensil I use. Butters and honeys way less messy that way. Especially great in measuring cups as the ingredients slide right out. Love your work!!!!!👍👍👍👍
I just found your videos today!! I live with my sister and my daughter. We have been wanting to eat healthier and your recipes look amazing!! I can hardly wait to start making them!! You do a beautiful job explaining the recipes, telling us why you do certain things and given amazing alternatives!! Thank you so much for sharing all you know about easy, tasty and healthy foods!!
I made the tuna recipe twice now, we love it, the second time I sauteed half a zuccini chopped finely with the onion as I did not have spinach, it came out delicious, thankyou for the recipes, we love your channel!
I'm trying to eat healthier, and your website and RU-vid channel are a gift! Thank you. Everything you make looks yummy! I'm inspired by the way you prep and store and meal plan. I lose produce because it sits in the chill drawer, so this is really organized and a good way to keep produce fresh. It's just me and my hub, so the recipes are perfect.
Tzatziki is generally eaten alone as a side dish. Americans are always dipping stuff in it but in Greece it is a side dish meant to be eaten alone as a digestive for the meal.
We were doing really well over here and then one day as I was leaving to go to the grocery store my husband asked for snacks and he rarely asks for snacks. It has been down hill from there! :-)
I made the nut bars and the banana bread balls....OMG so good. My husband says that the two recipes are KEEPERS!! Which is his highest compliment. I did roll the banana bread balls in some shredded coconut because they were a little too sticky, and I added some other dried fruits and sunflower seeds to the bars and I can only eat Almonds and pumpkin seeds. I am going to be trying more of your yummy snack recipes. I have been following you for a while and I started meal prepping ingredients the way you do rather than whole meals. I find it so much easier to eat healthily as I am not bored from eating the same meal all week. Thanks for your amazing content and wonderful recipes, you are refreshing and a real inspiration to eat deliciously healthy. Cheers
I 2nd that! You'd have to tie my hands together! I think I'd still find a way to get at them. I'd like to know how calorie content for at least 6 of them, please. If I'm being honest, I know I could never eat any less than that! 🤷
I love the nut butter and chocolate idea. I regularly have banana chips in my freezer and a couple of plain little bites are very satisfying. Can't wait to try this idea.
Thanks for sharing! Can you plz do a video on “nut free” snacks? Then I could add the snacks to my son’s (he is not allergic) school lunch. A lot of schools are “nut free” zones because a lot of students are allergic to nuts.🙂 Thanks!
Love all these recipe ideas!! I have a suggestion for an easier way to apply the almond butter to the banana bites in the last segment. Try loading a plastic sandwich bag and cut the tip or use a piping bag and then pipe it onto the bananas, way less mess! :)
I'm pretty fussy with my snacks but love the look of all of these! My tip with tzatiki is to strain the yogurt in a cheese cloth overnight, it draws the excess water out and makes it extra creamy :)
For making easier to apply almond butter on banana slices... Just put almond butter into a zip lock bag; close bag and cut a small piece out of a corner. Gently squeeze desire amount of almond butter onto banana slices for quick, easy application! Voila! I love your channel! Great healthy, beautiful and tasty ideas!
I just made the almond butter banana bites and they are delicious! I wasn't too convinced in the beginning, mine seemed to turn out tiny and all wonky but now that they're dipped in chocolate I love the look and the taste as well :)
oh my goodness, I cannot believe how easy these are. Every time I try to follow someone to make easy recipes, it's always something that I have no clue about. Thank you so much, this is making me so excited!
I made the banana bread bites and they are amazing! I used sugar free maple syrup and added a few dates. I blended the mixture in a Vitamix and it turned out so good. Tastes just like banana bread. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hey girl! For those banana bites, you should put the peanut butter in a plastic baggie and cut off the corner to pipe it onto each piece mess-free and perfectly!
Hı :) ı'm from Turkey and in our food culture we have meal just like tzatziki and it calls 'cacık' and it's so delicious!! I hope all you have oppourtinity to come Turkey and taste it :) xo
@@Downshiftology I'd use a piping bag to put the nut butter on the bananas. I make popsicles out of peanut butter and banana pureed for my grandkids. They love them.
OMG I ran across your videos while looking for something else. Then I got stuck here sitting on the couch watching video after video. They are so helpful and the foods are absolutely beautiful and colorful. I love the food prepping and will definitely be trying some of your recipes. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos.
For adding the almond butter to the sliced banana, it's quick and easy to put the almond butter in a small zip lock bag, make a small cut in one corner and pipe it on! 😋 Thanks for these awesome snack recipes! 🤗
You can use a piping bag or cut the corner from a ziplok bag and pipe the filling for the banana bites. Also refrigerate the filling for an hour b4 piping. Everything squeezes neat and tidy🐢
Making my 2nd batch of banana bread energy balls today. They are so good; a perfect pre-workout snack for me! My husband also loves them. In fact, he's the one who ran out for more nuts this morning :-)
I really came for the trail mix recipe. Honestly, I had a stressful day, well, let’s be real, a stressful year. But it’s nice to come see a video where someone is happy to share a recipe with everyone. I never used to meal prep or cook. Even after I moved out of mamas house. But now that we are quarantined indefinitely started cooking salmon and making chia pudding and other healthy recipes. I always appreciate your videos. The first video I saw was of the almond milk recipe
To distribute the almond butter on the bananas you could use a re-usable icing piping bag...seems like it would be easier. For easy clean up you could always use a ziplock baggie and cut the tip off one of the corners.
omg, those granola bars! I love granola bars period and this recipe is so awesome! I imagine you could also break up the granola to make a bunch of bite size chunks. Totally making some! 🥰❤
Oh no! I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy right now. But, I'm glad this video came at a good time 😊 Hope you enjoy these ideas for some snacks you can keep on hand!
Just made the energy balls. Didn’t have almonds, so used walnuts. Didn’t have maple syrup, so use golden syrup. And used mixed spices instead of cinnamon. In the fridge now for half an hour, but the bits I cleaned off my fingers tasted delicious!! Thank you
I hope you enjoy all these delicious snacks! Don't forget that there's 30+ more snack ideas on the full blog post. And apologies if I mispronounced tzatziki wrong. 🙈 I did my best - lol! I think I need to plan a trip to Greece, so I can learn to pronounce it better. 😉 (Edit - just realized I said zucchini instead of cucumber on the vegan tzatziki - yikes! It should be cucumber.)
As a Greek, I second that you must visit us soon ❤ even though your pronounciation was just fine. Thank you for all the recipes, never stop making videos please 🇬🇷
Downshiftology Two questions: your videos look so professionally filmed. May I ask what kind of equipment you use such as lighting nad mic etc.? Also does someone assist you in the filming or do you use smaller tripods etc. Second question do you have nutritional information for any of these recipes anywhere? Thanks again
I would put the nut butter and chia seeds in a small snack bag, and massage it to mix it. Then just cut a teeny portion of the corner of the bag with a scissors and squeeze it onto the banana slices
Thanks for sharing this healthy delicious recipes. Love your kitchen, love the set up, love your videos, and your attitude makes me want to continue to watch more of your videos. I don’t understand why over 200 people have thumbs down to your video. Please keep posting. Show us how you organize and store foods in your freezer and refrigerator.
Hi, Lisa! I think your RU-vid channel is proof that you can eat healthy while you eat delicious meals which are easy to make. Thank you for sharing your brilliant ideas with other people on the internet!:) I love banana bread energy balls! I have already made this food several times and I can't get tired of it.:)
I am addicted to watching your videos!! I can’t stop watching. I have made your chicken salad recipe and I LOVED it!! Thank you so much for your videos. They have made my new eating habits so much easier.
I loved the chocolate banana bites! An easier way to put the almond butter onto the bananas was by using a ziplock bag! I put the almond butter into the bag and cut off the corner, then I squeezed it onto the bananas!
Omg this is amazing! You literally answered all my questions in just one video. I ran to find the subscribe button but I realised I am already a subscriber and I don't know! 😂 i mean obviously, who wouldn't subscribe at such a great content! Keep up and thank you for your time to make these useful videos! ❤
