Bring on the rootabagas, and other underappreciated produce! Beets are EXCELLENT in choc smoothies. A friendly word of warning to keep in mind - the red color will definitely show up in urine, especially with that many, though I'm sure once cooked they are freezer friendly.

Wish I could get that Silk yogurt in a plain version. And it's interesting to see the Silk organic unsweetened soy milk in a red carton with 8 grams of protein. Ours is a green carton with 7 grams of protein. I also wish there was a non-dairy sour cream that I liked. Actually, Forager cashew/coconut plain yogurt is a pretty good replacement. Better than their sour cream. Kite Hill has taken over and I don't care for their products much. One bite of their sour cream and it went in the trash! I need to watch your latest pasta video. Sounds delicious.

Do you have the brand Earth’s Own where you are? I know it’s a Canadian brand but it’s gotten quite big - they have really good sour cream! Funny how the packaging for the exact same product is so different between 🇨🇦 🇺🇸! And that it’s less protein 🤔

@steamyvegan I checked out Earth's Own website and no stores here where I am in Florida. And no names I recognized other than Walmart and Whole Foods. I checked the Walmart app and only one shelf stable milk. I've also made my own with cashews and/or silken tofu. They are acceptable for recipes like sauerkraut soup and stroganoff but not for a dollop in a taco bowl. Sometimes I use regular and feel guilty. I'm only vegetarian but consider myself a wanna be vegan. Sounds stupid I know. Yes, surprised about the difference in the Silk soy milk. Thanks for the response, Janelle.
