VD: There are three different scenarios and Renca is portraying as several characters. The first scene with the title “hearie problem #1: love misunderstood. Setting is at a “grocery” store. Renca is a Deaf customer and she is wearing a maroon shirt with “ISD Bobcats” on it. She arrives at the cash register area to buy her food. The cashier (who is also Renca) is wearing a red shirt. The cashier begins to speak “Hi! How are you today?” Renca gestures she cannot hear. The cashier looks shocked but accepts- continues to scan the food. After that the cashier looks at the register to tell the total price, the cashier yells at Renca. She smiles and gives her card. The cashier asks if Renca wants a receipt. She says yes. Renca smiles and says “Thank you.” The cashier slightly gasps. Romantic music begins to play. The cashier looks flirty and begins to giggle. Then the cashier blows a kiss back (assuming that Renca blew a kiss but she really signed thank you.)
Scene 2- title reads “hearie problem #2: The sorcerer. Renca is sitting in her car wearing blue SOS sweater, signing big and clearly showing her emotions. A mother (wearing black floral dress) and child (wearing yellow shirt and both are also portrayed by Renca) come by. The child screams and says “mommy loook!” Renca continues to sign big. Mother looks and starts to react. She gasps and squawks. Child ask mother what is Renca doing. Renca continues to sign big and show emotion. She slowly looks and realizes that both of them are looking at her. She waves hello. Mother gasps and covers child’s eyes. She says “come darling! There is sorcery in this world!” And leaves.
Scene 3- title reads “hearie problem #3: false hope. Renca is wearing ILY by Mara. She crouches down and sees that her tire is flat. She says she left her phone at home, ugh why! Then she says ok I need help and sees someone so she gets up to get that person. The other person (wearing a silver/purple wig and black jacket and also portrayed by Renca) is coming by. This person has Starbucks in their hand and is wearing sunglasses. The person is talking on the phone and sees renca waving. The person pauses on the phone and says hold on, looks at Renca, and becomes excited that Renca is waving. The person waves back. Renca continues to wave and signal that she needs help. The person is inspired and continues to wave back in circles then blows a few kisses. Renca is like uh what?! Then person goes back on the phone and continues chatting. Renca ends the scene with “deep sigh, hearing people!”
