You'er so Right Nona, sometimes we really do know what God is calling us to do but because we don't want to surrender we ask for confirmation. And there's nothing wrong with asking for confirmation or a word of encouragement but let us have a heart posture of being willing to follow Jesus the same way the disciples followed him. The bible says they immediately left what they were doing and followed Him. Let us have such faith.

I'm only at minute 17:29 when Facebook calls and I'm over here speaking in tongues and got the goosebumps!!! Glory!!! Ok... going back to finish the rest!! Hallelujah 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

For a year I had plans to go a weekend with a group I joined. I put the dates on my calendar. I put in my leave at work for those specific dates. I continuously contacted the group via email to ensure it was still going on. As the weekend approached and the details were being laid out, I had ALL intentions of putting down my deposit. But I heard the HOLY SPIRIT SAY NO!!!! You’re not going to Atlanta. The MOMENT I heard that I was at peace. HE was so loud it was shocking. A year of planning for GOD to say NO. I obeyed. I surrendered to HIM.

Nona thank you for being an open vessel through which God can and does communicate with His people. This message was so applicable to my life that I am going into my prayer closet to ask God what He wants me to glean from this message. Thank you so much for this word. Until next time...

Nona, I am grateful for this message. I have similar experiences with two of my previous roles. Both were plum executive leadership roles, yet I was disquieted in my spirit. God spoke to me and shared that He had a different place, career path, leadership dynamic, and assignment for me. As a person who like to see the big picture and drive strategy, it was hard. But, I know that the those things are about control and not evidence of faith in God and true obedience. God is revealing and helping me to understand His assignment. Now, I am a minister and emerging public theologian, teacher, and writer. I can see how God is using my professional experiences and leadership for His kin-dom and kingdom work. I am obeying, walking this out in faith...and God remains faithful and true. My faith, obedience, and service is for His glory alone. God bless you.

Faith prompts obedience . When God speaks, follow. True faith will require you to give up something you love , for the God you love more. You will not understand why until you exercise your faith.

My main hesitation: how could I at least maintain my income and benefits. It was the grace of God that another benefit was available just in time...I truly was almost winging it except I had been talking to God about my next move.

Well. Today I woke up this morning and as I clicked on RU-vid I saw this message. You have been my secret mentor for over 10 years. I know your story well and through you God has confirmed so many things. I am at a road that I need to take a leap of faith to exit a job. I work in the same organization you worked in before you got a call for Facebook. We met at many of our conferences in central Florida and I had a chance to talk to you. Just want to say thank you.
