please pray for me: I want mental clarity to know myself what my gifts and talents are and to serve the world in a way that bring joys for myself and others. I thank God for this message tonight, it was exactly what I’ve been going through. I’m newly sober and I have trouble with discerning his voice and my addictions voice. I needed to be reminded that HE has the answers, I’ve been living in self for so long it’s hard to remember to embrace the Lord. I forget he’s there for me & loves me, and I don’t have to do this whole life thing on my own anymore. Thank you for this message, pastor !

talking about being unequally yoked i’ve been with my fiancé for 10 years we have 3 children i gave my life to the lord 4 years ago it’s become such a big part of my life, my fiancé is happy for me to go to church but he doesn’t want to go or follow like i do, what do i do ? i’ve got faith that the lord has a plan for him but it’s hard we was both none christian’s when we met and had children so i definitely need prayers please 🙏🏻

I know this is a year old, but I feel like this entire sermon was God speaking directly to me through you. I needed this reminder and clarity SO bad. I am so thankful for this message. I have been feeling more and more alone as I continue to wait, with so many asking "Did He really say that?" And telling me even if I did, it must be delayed. I have been struggling to get into the Word lately, to pray and lay down my burdens to the Lord and spend time with him, because I am so tired. I've been waiting on the restoration of my marriage, and have been hearing since a few days after my husband left the marriage will be restored, and he will come home and stay and not leave again. That it will not be long, and in September my grandmother and I both received "he will be coming home very soon." And I am exhausted in the waiting. I am not strong enough to be a single mom and raise my son and protect him the way he needs, I need help. I am ok being alone, but I am lonely. I am struggling with nightmares. I am tired. And I needed reminding of everything this sermon said. It was exactly what I needed today.

HOW TO DISCERN THE VOICE OF JESUS If you truly desire to know God then you begin by genuinely repenting and by making the commitment to search God out with all of your heart. Genuinely repenting means that you truly desire to no longer sin but you understand that you cannot achieve this on your own and that is why you need the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to guide you and teach you. So after you genuinely repent you then ask Jesus to bless you with His Holy Spirit and you now start believing that He has answered your prayer and He is now dwelling inside of you. You then spend time in scripture and prayer every day since you truly desire to know God through His word and you want to be able to discern the voice of Jesus Christ. Realize that God gave every believer the ability to discern His voice and to go directly to Him with all of their questions especially where scripture and His truth are concerned. This is where 1 John 4 and testing the Spirits now come into play since you cannot possibly discern the voice of Jesus until you are able to discern the spiritual voices that dwell inside your thoughts. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” 1 John 4:1-6 NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Many will read this above scripture and think that this is talking about an individual that you may encounter who is a preacher or whatever and that is totally incorrect. This scripture is explaining how to test the thoughts and questions that run through our minds since God is Spirit and this is where the Spirit world exists. So if you have truly repented and you have accepted Jesus and His Holy Spirit into your life then His Spirit now dwells inside of you and it is now possible for you to communicate directly with Jesus in your thoughts (Spirit) since His Spirit and your Spirit are now united and they are one. This glorious blessing is available to every believer, so if you are not living a victorious life where you are learning how to overcome the sin and the afflictions of this fallen world, then you are one of the billions who are living a lie and you are deceived. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ “For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:13-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Our inner conscience is what God refers to as our spirit and it makes us who we are. God is Spirit but what many are overlooking is that the devil and his demons are spiritual beings as well, so testing the Spirits is possessing the wisdom to discern the spiritual voices that dwell inside our inner consciences where both Godly and demon spirits exist. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1:5-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬ So scripture is relating that God will answer any questions that we may have but what most are not comprehending is that God answers us in our thoughts and He does not respond in an audible voice. Now many are capable of hearing a spiritual answer in their thoughts but they are easily deceived since they lack understanding of 1 John 4 and they do not possess the wisdom to discern whether they are hearing from God or the devil. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NKJV “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭NKJV‬ I John 4:2-3 instructed us how to discern whether we are hearing from the Spirit of God or from a demon spirit, (truth from error). As scripture relates, the devil is the father of all lies (error) and he and his demons will never speak truth. God on the other hand will always speak truth and He will never lie. So we are to test our spiritual answers by simply asking “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” after every question that we ask. Since the devil and his demons never speak truth, they will always lie (error) and always answer no when asked “Did Jesus Come In The Flesh?” God’s Spirit on the other hand always relates truth, so He will always answer yes (truth) when asked “Did Jesus Come in the Flesh?” So after genuinely repenting and when you are alone and everything is peaceful and quiet, start asking Jesus a few questions in your thoughts and then listen for a spiritual reply. Understand that you need to phrase your question in such a way that it can only be answered with a yes or a no response and remember that this is all done in your thoughts (your Spirit) and you are not actually speaking it. Be very specific in the questions that you ask since God’s Spirit will respond based on how you phrased your question. Also realize that it will not be an audible voice that you are hearing but your own inner thoughts since your Spirit and God’s Spirit are now united and they are one, so your response will probably seem like a spiritual feeling more then an actual voice. Then immediately after receiving the answer to your question you then need to test whether your reply came from God (truth) or from a demon spirit (error). Once again, how you test the response that you hear is by asking in your thoughts “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” immediately after you asked your question and you heard your reply. If you hear a yes to “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer to your question is correct (truth) since it came from the Spirt of God. If you hear a no when asking, “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then you heard from a demon spirit who is trying to deceive you. Realize that if you heard no after asking “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer to your question is a lie (error), and the truthful answer would be the opposite of what you originally heard. You must test the Spirits with every question that you ask of God since you need to make sure that the answers that you are receiving are correct and that they came from Him. So back to back yeses would mean that the answer to your question was correct (truth) since you heard from the Spirit of God. A no and yes response would indicate that your answer was correct (truth) as well. A yes and no response means that a demon is trying to deceive you and so the truthful answer to your question is actually no while a no and no response would indicate that the truthful answer to your question is actually yes. Getting good at testing the Spirits takes time and practice and you can certainly hear wrong if you doubt what you hear or if you have anxiety in your life, so understand that you must be relaxed and at peace when testing the Spirits since your emotions can definitely sway what you are hearing. Plus if you currently possess any kind of sickness or affliction in your life that certainly can hamper your ability to discern the voice of God as well since you may be more focused on your pain and suffering and your spirit is not at peace. Lastly, realize that certain questions regarding future events is off limits where God is concerned so that may be another reason that you may hear incorrectly. “About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭ESV Sadly, the majority of this world have not comprehended how God gave every believer the ability to discern His voice in order to overcome their sin and afflictions and to cast the demons out of our lives. So very few people are experiencing this amazing blessing in their lives and it is mainly because they do not possess God’s Holy Spirit since they have not genuinely repented nor did they make the commitment to seek God’s wisdom and truth with all of their heart.

I just Discovered PS Bobby on RU-vid, I know God directed me to watch , I can't explain how much his messages have helped me, today I watched the sermon on rejection, the last 10 months I returned to the Lord after the most horrific 6 years of betrayal and abuse by my husband of 20 years.... I actually completely forgave after the revelation of true forgiveness in that message!!! God is so wonderful, I'm so grateful, in this greatest darkness, I am alive, I didn't want to live initially, I am free from an addiction to using meth for the most part of 25 years, My 4 young adult children are serving God, 3 in Ywam 1 headed to professional footy, and despite all the darkness that came, I am free!!! Pastor Bobby is one of the best Bible ministers around, and I think the music is not necessary during his preaching. I think it takes away from the delivery of his preaching, its too loud over his attempt to keep talking. His message is too important to be drowned out by music. Have a blessed day.

I am where my favorite denomination doesn’t seem to exist even though there are Church buildings with names which would make one think they are of that denomination 😢. So I subscribed to this channel after hearing this young man open and deliver God’s Word. I am getting old haja, well I feel it at this point and I can’t wait to hear and be built up in God’s Word hoping that someone will open an authentic Church near me. Anyway, if I can find away to support someone who speaks fluent Spanish and wants to live where it is hot year round, I will help that or those people start a Church here in Southern Mexico. ❤ Dios les bendiga 😇

It's so funny how I landed on this video. I had a dream about a pastor, never having watched a full sermon from him before but I saw him once a long time back on my youtube feed. I don't know who said his name but in my dream his name was spoken aloud. When I woke up at 5am one day and God was pressing on me to remember my dream. So I searched up the name Bobby Chandler, and this pastor in my dream showed up on the search. I clicked the first video that came up and it was this one "Hearing God Over Your Thoughts." Long story short, I have been struggling with discerning my thoughts vs God's voice and I knew there was something missing in my prayer life. God had been constantly waking me up in the middle of the night for months and I didn't understand why, but this message revealed that it was so I would make an appointment with God. Ever since I heard this message a few weeks ago, early in the morning before doing anything else I show up for my appointment with God, and it has transformed my prayer life radically. Pay attention to your dreams and ask God for discernment with them! They might just have the answer you've been looking for.

Hey pastor, so I wanna add to what your saying the voice of god after me reading the Bible is. So I used to have a lusting problem and I found god and got closer to god and I realize that when I go to the gym there’s this urge to lust sometimes and it’s a fleshly thing but there’s this little voice in my head saying no it’s not right don’t do that and I try my best no to and I look away and to me that’s god telling me don’t do that bc in the Bible he taught me it’s wrong so that’s god saying don’t do that it’s is like I’m at war with myself to not do those things anymore like god is fighting this battle for me bc I’m putting my faith in him I can feel the spiritual war going on in things like not doing the evil things I used to do that’s god man I appreciate you pastor much love thank you!
