1. SO happy you're back. 2. 😂 your face when you realised what the song really was..... ICONIC song, changes the whole meaning when you get to the climax, doesn't it.... awesome reaction xxx
Yeh it’s hard on the man for sure, she used him to have a baby because her husband couldn’t give her one, so she picked him up. She doesn’t need him she is in love with her husband. She doesn’t want him to destroy her marriage, by wanting to see the baby. Very harsh but a fantastic song. The heart girls are fantastic. Oh the song was not written by heart, it was given to them to sing. So Ann found it hard because of the man, but did a fantastic job, as they always do. Keep going they have many more.
What I love about this song is that at first it sounds like "All I wanna do is make love to you" means "I'm obsessed with you and I wanna do it because I can't stop wanting you" but by the end you realize it means "I don't want to know you, I don't care who you are, I just want you to knock me up, that's all I want from you" hahahahahaha
He probably got a job at the hotel in the hopes of seeing her again. She was shocked to see him. I don't think Heart liked this song but they still knocked it, rocked it, outta the park
Ann - the singer refuse to sing this song live ... she knows about the implications ... but as time continues for about 10-15 yrs - she finally sang it live -- but she knows ...
Hey Twon, just a quick note to say that the acoustic renditon of "Love Hurts" on the Heart album "The Road Home" is outstanding!! Just for reference, the song "Love Hurts" is best known for the hard rock version released in 1974 by the Scottish band "Nazareth". "Love Hurts" was actually recorded originally by the Everly Brothers in 1960. Roy Orbison covered it a year or so later, if you're interested in comparing the different treatments of this classic song. "The Road Home" is a live album recorded in Heat's hometown of Seattle at an intimate little club called The Backstage in Ballard. It's gone now but I saw many, many shows there. It was literally "just down the hill" from where I used to live.
Here's an interesting tidbit: I saw an interview with Ann Wilson, the lead singer in Heart, and she said that she really never liked this song because she thought the story of what happens in the song is just crass, and made her uncomfortable.
How are you doing? Good to see you back! This song by Heart, Nancy is the main singer this time ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-41P8UxneDJE.html
Love your reactions! Here are a few suggestions for more explorations of Heart's catalouge: "Straight On" "Kick It Out" "Love Alive" "Allies" "Who Will You Run To" "Dog & Butterfly" A bit of 'inside baseball' on this song, It was written by the legendary producer Mutt Lange. Ann hated singing this song. She says it's a bit creepy if you think about it, and if you reverse the genders involved it becomes even more creepy. The liner notes for the Heart album "The Road Home" there is a more explicit explanation by Ann & Nancy themselves. Which is interesting in itself because they include an acoustic versidfon of "All I Want To Do" on the album. As a matter of interest, you might enjoy hearing the acoustic renditions of some Heart songs. Ann & Nancy took their music to a new level on this album, in my opinion. The acoustic verson of "Crazy On You" is amazing. As are the acoustic reworlings of "Barracuda" and "Alone" (freakin' gorgeous if you ask me😎). Tioraidh an drasta (Good-bye for now in Scots Gaelic, or just "Cheerie-oh)
Check out “it must have been love” by Roxette it’s fire and was in my favorite movie pretty woman. She’s such a powerful singer. 😎🙋🏼♀️ P.S great seeing you back! 🤩
She had a one night stand with a man, later in life she ran into that man when she already settled down with another man. He saw her child and it was like looking into his own eyes. That was his child that she had he never knew about.
I've always wondered about the line "So we found this hotel, it was a place I knew well." Really? That's kind of unusual. How many times has she tried this with other men in her effort to become pregnant? Hmmm.... Howzabout a sperm bank? LOL!
Oh Dub..the 80s Heart. 😳 Like Ann herself, I'm not a fan of this song. 🤷♀️ However, lots of people do. 🙃 They, Heart, didn't write it. Much prefer earlier Heart, but to be honest... I'll listen to just about anything ❤❤! "STRAIGHT ON" please, you will like it!! 👍🏽
You need to check out Paradise by the dashboard light by meatloaf make sure you watch the concert video that goes along with the song so you get the full effect of the song mind-blowing followed by the song bad out of hell
I noticed most men mix up what she is saying. She had a man she loved but he couldn't get her pregnant. But the man she picked up got her pregnant. That's why she said "you gave me the one thing that he cant".she was grateful
She and her husband wanted a child but her husband couldn't have children, so they came up with a way to have one. She never intended to see the one night stand again
“She wrong” but yet guys do this shit all the damn time and they’re “the man!”. He got what he wanted just like she did and she’s taking care of her shit without the donor, lol
