I was surprised to learn Heart had covered the song. It was written not by Ann Wilson, but by two guys whose band later folded. Kind of makes sense, these lyrics sound more like what a guy would say to a girl than vice versa. Imagine if Journey covered this. They'd have a megahit that would rival their own Don't Stop Believing. Yeah, this song fits Perry's and Pineda's voices perfectly.
