This is by far the best cover I have ever seen of this song the vocals if you close your eyes you could imagine you are listening to the album it is that spot on and the guitar work is so fantastic the drummer is super skilled as well it was just so well done.

I am not just a listener, I have been in the Music biz for many years. I am also a Vocalist, used to teach as well. There are some things one simply cannot teach. Vocal ability is one of therm. Ann Wilson’s voice is one of the greatest rock n roll voices ever, male or female. And this young has her voice nailed perfectly in this video, and on top of that, the incredible guitar... First discovered Heart as a young teen when they released their self-titled album in the 80s, that led me to their earlier stuff, and Magic Man and this one have been my favorites for decades now. I'm not ashamed to say that the sound of this version was so spot-on, so soulful, so just plain good, it literally brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much for this. 👍👍👍

When I was a young lass in high school (some 35 years ago) I would have given my eyeteeth to be able to perform that so well. Back in the day we (women) weren’t expected to be able to rock so hard, you know. Ann and Nancy, Pat, Debbie, Chrissy, Joan and other amazing women were what we young girl rockers aspired to be. You, Moriah, are effin extraordinary. That voice is so strong, so full of resonance and badassery - it’s mind blowing. Never stop shining, “little darlin' one.”

I've been all over RU-vid trying to find someone who can play Barracuda right, and you're the closest. Even Roger Fisher can't play it right anymore. By "right" I mean the studio version: the way it was meant to be played. You have the tone down perfect, but in some parts you abbreviate. I know you have a good ear, else you wouldn't have nailed the tone as you have. But, listen more intently to the studio version and get it down. On the harmonic parts, you will need to use a whammy bar/tremolo bar. A Stratocaster is your best bet. I like the fact that you're able to do the lead vocal and guitar parts. That's always a plus! I haven't played for years, but Barracuda was one of my most favorite songs I learned on guitar. I was just 17, that was 1979 when I was playing that one. I had already learned a lot of Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Rush, Rick Derringer's version of Rock & Roll Hoochie Koo, and too many more to list. I've seen Heart several times (during the 80's), as they were one of my all time favs. Anyway, keep up the good work. And the drummer did a great job as well. Awesomeness!
