Amazing basket ... I’m a beginner , literally i started crochet a week back I wanted to do this ... it took me all day but i have done it :-) thank you for sharing :-) i tagged u in insta :-)
Love your videos which are easy to follow. Please could you include the total number of stitches after completing every round. This would work as a check, that we have followed the instructions correctly. Thanks in advance. 🌸🌸🌸
@@elizabethmiranda7235 the first row is sc in the first 5 chains, sc 3tog, sc in next 4, sc 3 in last st. So if you start with 14 chains and sc evenly across, you will have 13 stitches, take away the 2 you decreased and add on the 2 you increase at the end, you should have 13 stitches. I hope that made sense (:
Hi Neha.. thank you for watching my tutorial.. it really encourages me.. yes, if we understand the pattern, and it is easy to make another round of the base to make it bigger.
Thank you for the great video. It was very clear, and I liked it close up. I went looking for t-shirt yarn and there are different types. Do you happen to recall the brand you used. It looks really nice. Thanks!
You are welcome 🥰😊 My yarn is from local shop, it has no brand. It is made from spandex. I think we can use any t-shirt yarns (cotton or spandex), or macrame cords for this project.
Great demonstration (though the camera is a bit too close to the action sometimes and it's a bit dizzying). How many yards of t-shirt yarn did this basket use?
hi! i really love the tutorial. but do you know why mine doesnt feel as sturdy as yours? mine is so flimsy and wavy i dunno why :( i used the same yarn and hook btw
Weight #4 or #5 works well (I believed I used #5); it will make a mini basket if you follow the pattern. Just make sure to use a smaller hook than recommended.
i went around the outside and then got confused. i kept rewinding and playing a few times. eventually, i lost my place and couldn’t find my place etc. the forward and rewind are the hardest part. seeing the pattern in writing would be better for me cause i would know which line i am on and could even mark it. i am a beginner.
Hi Melody, I’m using local t-shirt yarn (no brand). It’s stretchy, made from spandex. You can use cotton t-shirt yarn, fabric yarn, or any bulky yarn. Thank you.
