The entire Dreamboat Annie album is worth listening to. It's amazing, as is much of what came after. Heart are legends. Their performance of this song at their Rock & Roll HOF induction, with original members of the band, is such a joy to watch. You can't go wrong with Heart, especially the early stuff.

Just an FYI, Robert was crying during Hearts performance because he was wishing that Jason Bonham was there with them. He was playing drums and it was a great surprise to Robert, he had no idea.

@@chrishowell199 I was watching an interview with Jimmy Page, (don't ask which one) and he spoke about why Robert teared up. He had said to Jimmy that he wished they invited Jason to attend and then he saw Jason on the drums.
There were estranged for about 3 years but they're back out touring. I saw them in 2019 and they're supposed to come back out again next year. They had a big comeback in the mid-80s and a ton of hits in that area as well. Nancy does lead vocals on a song called These dreams.
They are both very talented. Ann plays lead and backing vocals, flute, autoharp, acoustic guitar and Nancy plays rhythm and lead guitar, acoustic guitar, backing and lead vocals, harmonica, mandolin, keyboards. And Ann's voice has aged as well as a fine wine does. It has only gotten better and better over the years. It was the Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin where Ann got a standing ovation from the remain members of Zeppelin (Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, & Jimmy Paige).
Since you are such a zep fan, Stairway to heaven is a must. Others have mentioned it below. Please. It is a tribute with heart and jason bonham playing the drums. The looks on Robert, Jimmy and JPJ faces alone is worth it

@Tad Davis Yes!!! I have been trying to get someone react to songs from that concert for 2 years now. Of all their live DVDs, that one is by far my favourite. Every track is a must. IMO, Alive In Seattle is to Heart what PULSE is to Pink Floyd.

I’ve always wanted to sing like Ann and play like Nancy. That’s Nancy playing the mess out of that guitar. She got asked if there was a man in the wings playing while she pantomimed. Sisters fighting? They once got asked if they were lovers. Ann about killed the dude. It’s all bs. When have you ever heard that sisters don’t fight? Lol! You HAVE to check out them doing Stairway to Heaven!!! It’s A MORAL IMPERATIVE!!! It’s Robert who cries. He hates peoples covering it. Ann and Nancy were so nervous to do it. Afterward he said she did awesome. There’s a whole interview about it. Also, they got asked back in the day if they wanted to sleep with Zeppelin. They said no. They wanted to BE Zeppelin! So the tribute was mind blowing that they got to do it.
I highly suggest “Magic Man” next! Just strap in for that riff too! Love it!! Love Heart period! As others have listed, their version of Stairway at the Kennedy Center Honors is top notch. Also Alone, What About Love, and Magic Man are great ones that can't be missed
The lead singer fell in love with a draft dodger from the Vietnam war (Magic Man) and followed him and his band to Canada where they spent their first few years in the band. They came back when the war ended and draft dodgers were pardoned. That’s behind the lyrics.
I grew up listening up Heart. Ann Wilson amd Pat Benetar, they’re voices are amazing!! And I love the face you made when she did that one high pitch “Craaaazzzyyyyy”

The love of my life sang this at me when it came out. Pure passion for a few years. Left me when she couldn’t handle my family tragedy. Devastated, understandable, but unforgettable.
I met them one night at a little suburban club in Seattle. They sat in on a couple of songs with the band. Unbelievable. Got to talk with them for awhile-so down to earth and friendly!
got to see heart live in the early 90's. they still rocked as hard as they did in their early days. after the second song the house became out if control. it was an awsome show. one of the best. awsome got the chance to see them live. kennedy center honors is an awsome trubite LZ
Ann wrote this while living in Canada after her then-boyfriend Mike Fisher (the group's producer) went there to dodge the Vietnam draft. They couldn't go back to the US for fear he'd be arrested. Ann wrote this about the stress caused by the Vietnam War and all the social unrest.

that’s Nancy picking that guitar VERY good at the beginning of the song.. also Nancy wrote this song.. Ann and Nancy wrote almost all of Hearts songs.. very talented, when Nancy wrote and perfected this song, the lyrics r so beautiful, poetry in motion
Led Zepplin was one of Heart's favorite bands. Heart has said they were very inspired by Led Zepplin. Please check out a video that was Heart singing a Led Zepplin song -Stairway to Heaven at The Kennedy Center. It was a special ceremony honoring Led Zepplin.
OMG! This was one of the first LP's I bought with my own money! I was like 14...I worked every day after school for w eek to get the money to buy this album. It was one of the limited edition releases on a picto-graph. The record looks just like the cover. PEACE!!!!!
If you are a Zeppelin fan, you are about to become a Heart fan. Their hottest track is 'Magic Man' from this same album released in 1976. They performed a legendary tribute to Zeppelin at the Kennedy Centre in front of Barack Obama and Jimmy , Robert, and John Paul Jones who witnessed Heart performing the most jaw-dropping version of Stairway to Heaven imaginable..YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!! I also highly recommend the classic songs Magic Man and Mistral Wind.
