I just discovered you two weeks ago. In September 2021 I was diagnosed with heart failure, my nephew saved my life when he found my EF of 20-25% and immediately took me to ER. I got the heart failure as a reaction to covit vaccine. Now my EF is better, I am on medication (4 kind of drugs). I have a healthy lifestyle, for years I am on intermittent fasting, now mostly OMAD. Some blame the fasting.... I would greatly appreciate if you go deeper in treatments, drugs, supplements, etc...

Now, your failing heart just have to work harder to overcome with increased volume and tighter blood vessel.
That's why the meds/diet for heart failure are mostly related to counteract the effect of RAAS system: ACEI, ARBS, low sodium diet, lesser fluid intake, etc. And at the same time, these medications can cause injury to your kidneys. So must must have regular kidney blood works so proper adjustments can be made.

That's called orthopnea and it can be an indication your heart failure is worsening. If you need more pillows to prop you up or you have to sleep in your recliner it's not a good sign
