As I watched this I can't help but remember Paula's story of her humble beginnings and her bag lunches...You've come a long way baby as the old Virginia slims commercial said. She deserves every bit of it for all her hard work and sacrifice.

I love Paula Deen. When I used to eat a high carb diet, some of my best recipes came from her that I made my own and people loved them! 😋 I love her house too! My style for sure, especially the tropical fish tank and the fishing hole in the floor! 😃😍

I have to be honest, I am legitimately shocked and have never seen a home so incredibly beautiful and perfectly designed. It is exactly my style being a southern gentleman myself. I am a designer (architect/civil engineer) and I am so blown away!

What a heartbreak to have had this magnificent home she worked tirelessly for up for sale. Will admire her always for her stamina from a food service truck, delivering sandwiches with her sons, to the Food restauranteur , and icon she has become , despite the negative rhetoric she has received .

Paula, you have given me the must have thing to bring to every family gathering. I am asked to make lemon blossoms...they are lovingly referred to as "crack blossoms" because they are addictive lol. I made them just this morning for my co-workers and I believe I got a marriage proposal. Lol My husband of the last 34 years understands, because he is crazy about them too... Thanks Again!!

I loved to see your house I like everything in it . God bless you and your family. Just to let you know; I was raised in a 10 room home in a small island In Azores and a 13 th acre land . But the idea of fishing from your kitchen blew my mind..we grew everything like you but the 🦀 came from the ocean.... I was not born here ,but my mom was so that’s why we all came to this beautiful country that we all love ❤️. I also visit your restaurant and the store that I went crazy. I bought an apron and a Christmas ornament of a cube of butter... So you can tell how I love you and your show. I have two beautiful kids and three gorgeous grandchildren. I’ve been married over 50 years to my school sweet heart ❤️ and still doing great. We live in Milpitas hills looking down to Silicon Valley. We are very happy and proud of this country. Congratulations to your quarantine cooking witch I watch everyday. Best wishes to you all .

Now this home I fell in love with the moment I saw it, & there is one particular room I adore more & it is that one of the rooms with 💜THE HIGH CEILING & BOX WINDOWS UP TOP & THE LONG WINDOWS WITH GREEN CURTAINS & GOLD COLOR CHANDELIER & that big off living room I think it overlooks Wilmington Island Water View & The plants & The kitchen & I do love cooking and baking and this really made my day watching this, my love to you just a few miles away from The Low Country of Beaufort South Carolina is where I live all my life & I'll never leave this place.🌺💜

Paula finally sold this mansion in late 2020. It had been on the market for several years. She and Michael are Cmcurrently living temporarily in Bobby's guesthouse while her smaller house which she calls Dogwood is going through an extensive remodel.

Paula, please collaborate with a cast iron company to produce that lovely rectangular roundish-edge griddle you bake your biscuits on!I l love that and would buy several... I know I'm not alone. Also your Mac and cheese cast iron rectangular deep baking dish, and your cast iron fried chicken deep skillets. People are currently in love with cast iron, more than ever.
