All the hate towards Hyunju for following her heart just so Young Joo could end up with Hyun Woo is hypocritical. Nobody got upset that she didn't go for Gyu Bin, who was clearly into her, but when Hyun Woo and Hyun Ju did, suddenly its a problem. You can really see they made each other feel so warm and giddy; being right for someone on paper is not the same as what love actually feels like for someone unexpected. Pretty sure all the negative public opinion is what broke these two up, probably couldn't even go to a single place to meet without rude whispers.
The reason people don't like her is because Hyun Woo clearly stated he was not into her and Da Eun during the salad incident. He said that the person he cooked for wasn't in the house. Also, she knew HW was into YJ from the first dinner with HW and the group, as well as the date at HW's restaurant with the 3 girls. She mentioned that he liked YJ o him on her first date with him, where it was apparent he was expecting YJ. If a guy said he isn't into you, if you are a good person, you leave him alone to go with who who he truly wants. HW only chose HJ because YJ refused to talk to him after the last dates. He was upset that YJ and GB had a nice date where they exchanged the same book. He couldn't sleep because he was waiting for YJ to come to him per the usual. If he truly loved HJ, he would have been too blissful to sit all night at the kitchen table. When YJ didnt talk to him, he woke up early the next morning to wait for her in the kitchen and for the first time ever, asked her out on a date because he wanted to settle the misunderstanding of the last date, but at this point YJ was on the defensive, she was tired of the back and forth. To put a final nail in the coffin of their relationship, YJ said she didn't want to talk to him the night before and also asked for his last words, that's the reason he chose HJ. He thought YJ would choose GB. He chose HJ to save face. No way does any sane person believe he preferred HJ to YJ, when they were all together, he was always sneaking glances at YJ, not HJ. If the love was so real, why didn't they continue dating? People on the internet can't stop then from dating regardless of what is being said online. She knew she wasn't his first choice and then watching the season all over made her see for sure that she was the spare and not the one. Good thing he didn't choose YJ because he isn't a good communicator, and it seems like his ego is too big. He is the only guy in the house who only asked a girl out for just one measly date (and this was because he was scared that he lost YJ to GB).
@Muadline Um... You remember his ideal type was the cute type.... Only time I really saw him liking YJ was when she was drunk and acting cute. Clearly even from her point of view, she is not the cute type, more of a direct, serious, and pretty type. Hyun Joo on the other hand fit his ideal type perfectly, He clearly stated that the only reason He wouldnt date her is because he would feel sorry for being too busy... So on paper YJ would be Ideal for his job, but according to his Ideal girl... It's definitely lean toward Hyun Joo..
Still think their first date was hands down the best out of all the Heart Signal dates, including the Chinese version. It was just perfect. Like straight out of a movie. Even the way the photos in the booth came out... Legendary.
I remember watching this before... the girl is really in a hard situation she really liked the guy but the guy likes another girl and they had mutual feelings so ofcourse the short hair girl will feel uncomfortable. Even now that I'm watching this, it made me cry. And the fact that they bashed her for following her heart is so sad.
Its not fair for people to hate both of them cuz they just follow their heart. If i was hyunwoo id also pick hyunju as its easier to communicate with her compared to youngjoo. When with youngjoo, EVERYTIME its always end up with a misunderstood, and youngjoo always try to run away instead of confront the matter straight away, so it quite frustrating when you have that in relationship. But with hyunju its easier as she always tried to understand, even when he clearly show his interest to youngjoo she still try to understand. (Youngjoo always seeks for assurance, while hyunju always try her best to make things work instead of focusing on her insecurity) Mistake this show did was to not allow them to give reasoning behind their choices which causes this beautiful relationship to end quick than we thought 😭😭
NO HYUN WOO AND HYUN JOO DATED FOR 3 MONTHS NOT 4 WEEKS AS A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE SAYING BCZ THEY FILMED THE SHOW ON DECEMBER AND JUNARY AND THEY SHOWED IT ON TV AT THE END OF APRIL AND HYUN JOO SAID IN EP 14 THAT THEY BROKE UP AFTER SHOWIN HALF OF THE SEASON BCZ THEY felt a lack of personal freedom, their relationship became interfering with people and they could no longer date normally. In addition to the negative comments A LOT OF PEOPLE made to them AND THE AMOUNT OF HATE THEY EXPERIENCED JUST BCZ THEY FOLLOWED THEIR HEARTS . Pretty sure all the negative public opinion is what broke these two up, probably couldn't even go to a single place to meet without rude whispers.
Seriously so sad they already broke up. My heart flutters to when they in their first date. I pitied HW the most cz he seems quiet person before entering heart signal. Afraid he will depressed n didnt wat to get married cz wants to heal his hurt. At least i want them to feel happy eventhough theur heart hurt. 😭😭
Im so late watch this show..... and i dont know what they realitionship now... Can you say something about them... Are they still stay in this realitionship ????? I know it so long ago... But can you say something about them.... Or are they already broke out? Sorry for my spelling or wrong words.....
