You are both very talented and artistic! 📹📹📹📷📷📷🎬🎬🎞️🎬🎨🖼️🖌️🎨🎨❤️What is so refreshing is you both see beauty in the little things around you, the cast offs of yesteryear...it is really wonderful to watch you in your adventures and and then see first hand create something beautiful from the discarded "jetsom and flotsam' of time's passing.❤️

Who ever films and edits your videos has a real talent for it. I wish that you would make a special video, and it doesn't have to be mudlarking, where we just see your work. It could be the beautiful area you live in or your backyard. Your choice of music and the beautiful images would be all that's needed. Each one off your mini films are special and we savor every one.

Hello, Ladies! The item at 12:46 reminds me of the sprinkler top for a water bottle. It had a rubber gasket to fit it tightly to the bottle. My mom used it to dampen clothes before ironing them. The only way to get steam then, because the electric irons with steam were very expensive.

One of the things I love about you both is that you are not afraid of getting dirty, having muck down your finger nails, or wearing your old clothes and wellies and poking about in all sorts and all on camera! I am very much the same, always in my 'muck' either gardening, DIY ing or poking about and gathering stuff, I get some very snooty looks from a woman on our road, always done up to the nine pins , eyeing me up and down...but hey who cares! You know I believe I said one of your comment section that we here don't have any old bottles that had glass stoppers or any glass lid. Until the colonies started up glass shops I really don't believe many jars, bottles or jugs survived the journeys, but then there were always whiskey decanter that had pretty glass bottle stoppers that are around today. But they were mostly in very wealthy homes and government houses . And ofcourse they could have been shipped over later on. Most of our bottles that had to have stoppers ,corks were used .. Y'all are so lucky to be able to find such treasure almost in your back yard , so to speak.

The perfume bottle stopper would probably been used to put the perfume on. The stopper would be left in the bottle and the bottle turned upside down. Then turned the right way up, the stopper removed and used to dab the perfume on the skin. I’ve seen it on old films used this way.

@@isabellelabrie01984 I do, as it happens! In days of old when knights were bold ( :-))) ) the knights would hold the reins in his left hand to leave his right hand free for jousting. The oncoming knight would also have his sword in his right hand, so they were each on the left hand side of the approach. Ships berth on the left too. When changing gears in a manual car, your stronger right hand controls the steering wheel. We have many fewer automatic shift cars over here, so this is a factor too. Here is a video you might find interesting, it is only three minutes in length :-) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-prNWTqOoeBs.html

Mail the Kelso bottle to Ashton Kutcher. 🤣🤣🤣 I started my Mudlarking with Nicola White and Si Finds and have been binging on your videos this week. Both of you are so talented. I’m a Magpie and always scouring for tidbits. Your videography skills are superb.

The flag on the piece of pottery (the one where the blue coloring washed off) is the Russian flag, also used prior to the 1917 Revolution, meaning whatever it came from is probably at least late 1910s at newest.

May be totally unrelated but there was an Owl Brand in Hong Kong.

I paused the video to look at your recycled beads and I find them truly fascinating. Some look like old marbles and others look like planets. I do love beads and marbles much to the chagrin of my husband. I think I have the start of a hoarders house but organized and very pretty to the eye unless you talk to my love about this. Hoarder I am not because he makes sure I'm not. LOL Thank you for this adventure. Susann 75

You can add a plant to the flower basket that's broken.

You could use some of your smaller pieces of sea glass for the doll eyes. Maybe, one blue and one green.

You should have taken the teapot...it would have made a great decoration. Plant flowers in it, hang it up slightly tilted and plant an ivy of some sort in the spout. Maybe even have the ivy trailing down to a teacup! Love your videos! 😷❤

Ummm...favorite finds yet, saying HI from Mississippi USA. But I feel a kinship, as I was born in Cambridge England...in Louisiana, I used to dig around old chimneys, and garbage (bin) areas, some great bottles! Best finds were some books from the 1880's....still have them! Thank you ladies, I find I am wanting to get on the hunt again😊
