Is it a wonder that these girls get Zep's attention? Have you ever heard a better way to compliment their songs than with Ann and Nancy. They killed it,again.
Wow, what a rendition! Never heard this one, thank you again for surprising me and I love your reaction, right on the money ! Btw, Thank you for your attention to our mental health, Greatly Appreciated ❤🔥
This was a remarkable performance, I had seen the video for this amazing cover but not this live, they were great not just vocally but played the mandolin and acoustic guitar incredibly well. These ladies sure could bring it every time I saw them, the very best time being around 15 years ago they went out on a Led Zeppelin tribute tour with Jason Bonham and his band opening with an hour+ of Led Zeppelin classics. Then Heart did 80 minutes of their own greatest hits followed by Jason's band merging with Heart and everyone doing about an hour of Led Zeppelin classics. They ended with Stairway to Heaven, the girls next to me started crying and got me going, it was a very emotional time for everyone there, incredible and memorable show. More Heart, try Black On Black II and hear more brilliance. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶
They were The Lovemongers during this time, not Heart. They released a live EP & 2 albums as The Lovemongers; Battle of Evermore EP (1992), Whirlygig (1997) & Here Is Christmas (1998). In 2001, Here Is Christmas was re-released in the USA with a different cover & presented as "Heart Presents a Lovemongers' Christmas." Japan got a 2002 papersleeve release with different cover art, the USA & Germany again in 2004 with different coverv art & 2 bonus tracks, & finally again in the USA (2006) & Europe (2013) with the 5th different cover art & the bonus tracks.
This was excellent, but...... Another, even better (yes, really!!) performance in Seattle of this song was done in 2002. Check that out, or better yet, buy the DVD of that show. Absolutely stunning in it's entirety. I remember, growing up in the Seattle area in the early to mid 70's. T,he buzz in High School was about "these two chicks from Bellevue that sound like Led Zep," They'd begun to do clubs in Seattle again after spending a lot of time in Vancouver BC. They weren't really famous then, Dreamboat Annie hadn't broken in the U.S. yet. We all drove to a club on Aurora Avenue in North Seattle. Too young to get in, we kept trying to get the bouncer to keep the front door open so we could hear it better. The album broke in the U.S. when Magic Mam was released as a very successful single.
Wow those girl's are amazing.imin Vancouver near Seattle, zeppelin was before my time, but I've heard this song and man LoL did they ever do it well. Thanks darling.chow 🙏😘🕊️
There's a couple more versions of them singinging this song live..One from 2002 live from Seattle were a drum is added to the song and another version live from about 2012 , both versions are very very good..By the way great reaction...There's also alot more great Heart songs to react too..
Excellent choice! This particular performance highlights Nancy's exceptional vocal abilities----and you're right. The harmony is beautiful. I got hooked on Heart way back in '76 when I heard Magic Man blaring from my sister's bedroom. They instantly became one of my favorite bands and I've seen them in concert a handful of times. Dare I say that they do a better job playing this song than Led Zeppelin ever did (no offense). Like you said: they seem to have made this song their own. Rock on!
React to Maiden, fear of the dark, dance of death, rime of the ancient mariner, afraid to shoot strangers, powerslave, ghost of the navigator. All live or studio, and ask better about which versions actually
I like your reactions since they are excellent in concert. You could react to knocking on heavens door tribute to Freddy Mercury or You could be mine Guns n Roses thanks Good vibes 💚💛❤️🔥🔥🔥
The Wilson sisters are dope, they’re absolutely amazing performers, this was amazing! If you’re into LZ covers there’s an all female band called Zepparella that’s been playing for years, they’re amazing! Any song from them will really impress you! Nice reaction and rundown 🌹
Yeah - Heart kills when they do this song. I haven't seen this performance before, and it's good, but I would say the one from "Alive in Seattle" from 2003 is just a little better if you can believe that. But I love this song both by Heart and by Led Zeppelin. I think Heart's rendition is pretty loyal to the original.
Thanks for addressing the mental health issues that are so far reaching and know no bounds. Rebekah isn't afraid to address it and that speaks volumes of what her character is representative of. ❤
Hi Rebecca that was such a great performance. Specially at the end when she went for the high notes I've never gotten goosebumps on my legs before. Heart always seems to be able to pull off a led Zeppelin song and do it in their own way . Thank you Rebecca. I've been listening to Miley Cyrus I like the song Sweet chain Jane.
Time for you to react to Nightwish. Symphonic metal with the best singer in the world imo . Start with ghost love score from wacken 2013 . You will not be disappointed . Huge following the Nightwish army will show up . Greetings from the Nightwish army the Netherlands
Hey Rebeka your a little bugger lol, (joking) you didn't particularly like the Zeppelin version, that's cool, I rarely like Zeppelin covers but this is excellent in every way also your favourite artist if I'm not wrong Myle Sirus doing zeppelins black dog, excellent, look I know didn't spell her name right but you know who I'm on about, been so long I can't remember what I requested you to react to, God that's what getting old does, but here goes, The song to the siren on a album called This mortal coil, has to be album version, and because you like Robert plant his album version of the same song, both amazing songs and I know you will love them, hey you take care, keep up the great work, yours English Billy.
Thanks Beka for the awesome performance & the fantastic reaction. Saw Heart in concert twice & both times the Wilson sisters' vocals were so perfect it sounded like a studio recording. Please consider Tina S (Setkic) & her metal rendition of Beethoven's "MOONLIGHT SONATA" (when she was 17) or Nightwish "PHANTOM OF THE OPERA" with Tarja Turunen.
Ann and Nancy are great singers. Their covers of zepplin are the best ever, I love hearing them. However, it does show how tremendous Robert Plant is. No one can rise to the level of his singing Zepplin songs . They are the hardest songs anywhere to sing.
