I think certain bacterial infections can change blood types, but it is rare, like really rare.

I thought you are supposed to test the doners blood type for a mach your not suppose to mix blood types that will reject each other.

So AB+ is the universal recipient. It can take anything. O- is the universal donor. Anyone can receive it. How they switch is absolutely beyond me, especially since O- is one of the rarest blood types ever.

With me I'm A+ and I can accept A+,O+,O-,AB+ and AB- but I can't accept A-,B+ and B-.

I'm telling you from experience, I was born with a congenital heart defect similar to the girl in the video, I've had two heart transplants, before the first one my blood type was B+ when I was tested for it that's what it was, we had a fund raiser with the motto being Be + after my blood type, after the first transplant my blood type changed to A+, strangest thing you'll ever notice are the small changes after a transplant.
