"Sometimes we need a heartbreak in order to put a conclusion and things. Otherwise we'll be working on the wrong damn thing forever."

Very well said Margarita. One thing I would love to tell young people is this: When someone is ignoring you (and there is no basis for it and you have tried to reach out), move on, take the queue they're not interested any longer. It might be hard to take, but in the end you will be much happier.

This happened to me recently 😢 My man took me trying to express my feelings as an attack and now he's been ignoring me for weeks but still snapping God knows who. I know one could say I should trust him but all the mixed signals have me feeling that it's truly over this time and I don't know why I'd want him back after the way he's been treating me as of late 😞 Sucks when they say you're the one and it turns out to be a lie ❤

I had times at the beginning where I was not the greatest to her emotionally, I am filled with regret but will not stop trying to be better for myself and for my relationships in life, and deal with my attachment issues. I did break no contact and I think it ruined everything, it's so hard even knowing now I dont need her to be happy, but I want her in my life. I dont want to push her away. love yourself first though

I’m 20 and my bf told me doesn’t feel the same about me. I just stared at him and was about to leave, and he asked me “aren’t you going to ask me why?”… why would I need to know. I looked at him and said “You promised a lot of things but you didn’t even fulfill one of them. And you can’t even look at me saying all this, so what’s the point of me asking you why? Because when you promise things you lie to my face, and build a shitty image of yourself… a man who can’t even keep his words is a coward.” I was leaving and he told me he wanted to give me a hug, and asked me if we can still be friends. I told him to be friends with himself and left. Wtf. And not even 12 hours in and he sent me paragraphs, which I didn’t even read. Like I don’t need explanations, once you left me, means you are dead to me and you never existed.

Something similar happened to me. He said that he wanted to take a break but continue talking everyday and i was like "then it's better that we break up and i don't take breaks" he started to panic and asked me for another chance but i was already done. And like you said these type of guys are coward they are not even men if they can't keep their word. I just see some insecure coward boys.

You deserve the best of the best a man that is husband material, let yourself heal and then date but if you are marriage minded I highly recommend not getting into the boyfriend trap, just date without the titles, if he wants to commit let him propose and you get to choose if you are ready or not or if hes mr right or not ❤ you want a man who will choose you and adore you every single day. Dont settle for less. Write a list of what you want in a man and what you dont want xx

My boyfriend of 3 years dumped me 4 days after my 30 birthday via DISCORD just because i told him we should move in together. Untill that point he made plans, promised me future, all this stuff. Its been a year and i still cant shake of it. It was so rapid, so unexpected and humiliating. I just dont understand how someone can say "I love you" every day for 3 years and then do this. Doesnt help the fact that i lost my mother to cancer when i was 11 years old and my twin brother died 5 years ago. I feel this grief so hard i dont see any future for myself anymore. Not just a video for those in their 20s!! Romantic heartbreak even at age 62 can be devastating, but it can also be a learning experience, pointing one to what they want, need, and DESERVE! Provided we learn from the experience to make the next relationship better, heartbreak can be a gift. I'm still walking through it, but getting closer to the other side, where I believe there is something so much better waiting for me! A quote I came across the other day applies, I think. "If you can love the wrong person that much, just imagine how much you can love the right one." We all have love to give, and the right person will accept it for the gift it is. Praying for all of these commenters who are grieving, and while I wish for you it wasn't happening, It is comforting to know that we are not alone. Thank you, Margarita, for your encouragement through this video (and for the videos on attachment styles - I am learning so much that will benefit me going forward in life and love). You are wise beyond your years.

This is so true. You can’t truly experience true love or appreciate what you have until you’ve experienced the opposite. I had my heartbroken for the first time at age 31. I truly understood what it means when someone tells you who they are the first time believe them. I fell into the trap of believing in someone’s potential not who they were and that as long as you put in the work you can make love work, it didn’t because it was never meant to work. It hurt but I do believe this was a gift. I don’t think most people who break your heart are bad people but I understand now that people will always do what they think is best for them no matter how much you think you love them or sacrificed for the relationship. Love yourself first, set boundaries, love but don’t expect, watch their actions, and have the courage to walk away. Hard lessons indeed.

THIS. I too remember the exact moment in my early 20s when I realized people can look you straight in the eye and lie for selfish motives and self preservation. I was in the middle of testifying and realized how truly evil people could be and how dangerous it could be to assume pure intentions from everyone. I never saw anyone, much less society, the same ever again. I studied everything I could about deception/reading people and it has preemptively saved me a lot of heartache. Amazing job, as always. I really needed this. I recently got heartbroken and yesterday tried for the last time to mend things with this person and realized they never felt the way they acted they did. And that essentially hurt more than my feelings being unrequited. It's the fact that I feel deceived, especially since I loved this person so much and cared about them. I also love how you mention that everyone is brought here to experience something else. I myself never struggled much with money or some other things, but I do feel like my biggest struggle has been love. So it's very comforting to hear that my purpose here is probably to experience real love, and to go through heartbreak to learn what real love is not 🫶🏻 thank you for this video!

Glad I came across this video again. Currently going through a heartbreak in a relationship, I’m still in it, but I was hurt in such a big way by his actions and there’s been no repair, that I realise the relationship is coming to an end 😔. The only worse thing he could do is cheat, and I don’t want to stick around for that. So my heart is currently breaking as I’m making my decision … as well as having so much loss last year, for people and animals I love so much. It feels like I don’t have the strength to go through it all. And then at 37, I feel like I have no hope of meeting a man who I can build the life and love I really want with. But trying to be brave and just walk through it, take it day by day.

As someone still healing from a breakup a year ago, and I am in my 40's. It is way harder than any of my breakups from my 20's. Of course all breakups are different and everyone has their own experience. For me, it was a 3 year relationship that I had hoped would be it for me. But, things took a turn for the worse and it became very toxic and damaging. Instead of parting ways peacefully and with love, my ex decided to leave me because I wasn't ready for marriage. It was not a kind or peaceful breakup. A lot of back and forth, which made it even more painful. I have never experienced pain like this before and almost an addiction to her. There could be a trauma bond going on but I would say that therapy is must needed for those going through similar situations. It is a day by day, minute by minute process. You will have good days and bad days. You will feel you've moved on and then something will trip you up. Keep pushing and eventually it will get better.

Hi Margarita! Firstly thank you for this video it truly impacted my heart in such a way! I’m 23 years old and just found out that the man i loved, was anxiously attached to, and codependent to for 2 years ghosted me for 2 days and saw videos of him taking a girl to breakfast (the diner we went to and where my parents met) yesterday. also found out she has been staying with him this past week. Truly soul crushing, brain boggling, and heartbreaking. I feel it all right now and thank you for your video to give my mind redirection and refresh from trivial and immature actions as well as finding my own strength in this! xoxo

You are so right about people not being what they say they are... very sadly, i judged a book by its cover and later found out about a harsh reality of who they actually are... I anyway accepted them bcoz they gave me an STI ( not a severe one though) and lied about being virgin. Still they kept on lying and I kept on pursuing the relationship bcoz love made me think that they will change, alas, it never happened. Now, they left me bcoz they got angry about certain things I said and called me out for ruining their mental health. It's painful af to hear such allegations when you know that they are gaslighting the whole situation and trying to portray you as a bad person which I'm not. What's more shocking is the fact they just turned 21 and it's such a young age to be able to play such types of mind games and speaking lies to me by looking straight into my eyes. THE AUDACITY! As an explanation, more of like an excuse, they said they lied about being virgin bcoz they didn't want to lose me. I, anyway, still love him and want things to heal for both of us and i'm getting signs from the Universe to move on from them but kinda unable to do it, not that i'm not trying, but it's difficult bcoz at the age of 25, they were my first relationship ever and it's not easy to forget your first love.

I cannot fully blame him bcoz i'm also an anxious attached individual and boy if you break trust of anxiously attached people they are gonna bombard you with lots of different questions each time you perform any sort of activity in your life. So, he felt controlled and kinda suffocated in this relationship.

When you said manifesting real love, you also have to bring in what it isn’t… that clicked? Something in me just inherently clicked. Ever since I was younger like literally around the age of 8 I wanted to fall in love and be in love like my life depended on it, and several relationships as I’ve grown up I’ve noticed that they just keep pushing me to love myself more and I’m treated in such a way that, as you said, shows me that human beings are not always who they say they are. I am going to be 25 this year, and although I am dealing with a heartbreak at this moment and mourning a person who really only existed in my mind… I’m not giving up on the possibility that I am now much closer to finding the person who will be it for me.

Ah, hits close to home. I've just separated from father of my child, partner of 7 years. He virtually ghosted me for 6 months while we were living together. He kept leading me on saying he thinks we need to break up but he's not sure, so I kept hoping that we can keep family together. He wouldn't talk to me, talked to me once a month when I initiated to ask what's going on and he would give me same bs and then proceeded to act like I don't exist the very next day for entire month. I was in despair especially because we have a child and it's not healthy for a little human to live in such environment and god how I've tried to be the bigger person and forgive and understand and reach out simply to sort out practical issues regarding our child and to make sure that even if we separate we do it amicably. He rejected and manipulated me every single time and proceeded to ignore me. And then he said we should separate although he's still not sure. I've literally run out of any mental fuel😅 I don't know why I let him treat me this way, most likely because of our son. Now my heart breaks, there's so much going on iny life and has been for last several months that isn't related to the relationship, I'm finishing my PhD which I should give majority of my attention, my dog is dying of cancer, I have found a suspiciously looking mole on my skin recently, our son's been having behavioural issues due to the stress (issues that his father doesn't see and only tells me that I make this up to guilt trip him) and not even once he's been compassionate to me while I gave him so much compassion thinking he acts this way because he's stressed because this and that. He told me this week that he didn't fancy talking to me for 6 months because I was adding to his stress, because I 'forced' him to be vegetarian (screw that despite working and studying full time i still cooked majority of time and did most of the housework and if he wanted ear more meat than he could just perhaps cook it himself), because my PhD is the worst thing that happened to him, because he has no money because of me, because I didn't want to sleep with him without condoms 😂 listing these things make me doubt my sanity why I'd stay with someone like that, I also have strong suspicions that he's cheated but he won't admit because he knows that it'll affect the relationship with his son, even if not now then down the line. But I'm so heartbroken, I think deep down it's not because i love him but because i will be losing so much of my son's life now, because my vision of having more children is gone now for a while, because my illusion of the person I thought I loved is gone, because he has done all those things to me while I was having a pretty shit time and I cannot believe he'd do that. I'm sad that he's disappointed me so much not even as a partner but as a person. It's pretty shit to deal with but i don't know, perhaps it'll get better. I've been dealing with this heartbreak for at least 6 months so I don't feel really despaired at the moment as you'd expect for a fresh break up. Mainly I feel battered emotionally by all these things and feel angry at my own stupidity and lack of balls to just walk away earlier. I'll try to stay strong because otherwise he'll take more from me, more of that I don't have left.

So sorry to hear what you’re going through. Time will tell. In the mean time seek assistance from God, who will grant you the character strength and resilience you need to take care of you and your son and eventually move on with your life especially when u accept the quality standards you know you are worthy of and not allowing toxic ppl into your life making u feel less than and demeaned. Put your trust in God, everything happens with meaning and in our best interests to help us grow and live in the mystery of faith that God wants nothing but the best of us , more than we even want it for ourselves 🙏🏾

MY SOUL IS RAPED. HE RAPED MY SOUL. I am paralyzed and debilitated with panic and grief and longing and terror... I can't breathe through the pain. I can't and I don't. 4 months and 2 days of this agony. How much longer will this go on? How will I ever heal? How and when? And why?! WHY DID HE DO THIS TO ME? EXCRUCIATING DEBILITATING TRAUMATIZING EMOTIONAL PAIN. Submerged in darkness. I am terrified and horrified. Paralyzed with panic. He raped my soul with the way he threw me away. Absolutely raped my soul. HE REPLACED ME. Panic and terror. I'm so very desperately all alone. Abandoned and betrayed. Discarded like trash. Grief consumes me. I am traumatized and terrorized. I have nobody, I'm all alone, and the suffering is immense and intense. He - the man I called my best friend - gave me PTSD. Severe PTSD. He left me in February. Discarded me like garbage. The grief is unbearable. He left me. Replaced me. My "best friend". The only friend I had. The ultimate betrayal. How the actual fuck could he do this to me? We went from speaking every single day about every damn thing, and now we're strangers! I AM TORMENTED AND TORTURED AND HAUNTED. AND SO FUCKING DESPERATELY ALL ALONE. The pain and the panic and the terror are truly unbearable. REMINDER TO SELF: Focus on what you're moving on to, not what you're moving on from! 💯 I remove all unhealthy attachments blocking my divine path and I release all lower vibrational energies creating anxiety fear and depression! I call back all my power! 🙏🏾 Three things I'm holding on to, for my healing: #1 Be the best version of yourself every day; and your life will fall into place! #2 Everything you desire is already within you! #3 You are here: on this earth, for something bigger than you could ever even imagine! To sin is to not follow your soul❤ You are worthy❤ Stop playing small❤ You are limitless❤

I'm 37 - I have been in many relationships, even engaged at one point - had taken a 3 year break after having been in an abusive situation and thought I finally found 'the one'. He clicked all the boxes but was also deeply enmeshed with his platonic co-parent and was still living together. I thought I could make it work and put myself through so much suffering while the guy had no communication skills and ended up ghosting me until finally I broke up with him. We had fallen deeply in love and he said all the right things to have me creating a future for us in my head. My heart was broken yet again, and this time it was a new kind of pain because I was ready to settle down. I had really thought this one was the right guy that I was so blind to him being unavailable. I have faced this lesson many times with different elements. My codependent tendencies also reared their ugly head. You are right in that these experiences in the end show us what we don't want. No matter how much love you feel for someone, you have to be able to let go and move on when spirit shows something is not aligned.
