Carlisle fan here. I thought the Bradford support was outstanding yesterday. Even in defeat, you continued to sing. Your team owes you one. You should have left Banks on. When he came off, we knew we were the only team going to go for it. You could have nicked it. Best of luck next season. Hopefully, won't see you then.
Tell you what Sam I've been watching your videos for around 5 years now & this is a real mature summary from you. I know me & a minority of Bradford fans haven't seen eye to eye but you guys were a credit to your team in defeat. In fact I would say that team on Saturday does not deserve you fans. Still singing at the end. Great show of support 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Carlisle in peace; Firstly, all the very best for future. Long since had huge respect for Bradford City. Brilliant support. You deserve so much better. Hughes seems to make city a bit sluggish? Whatever division Carlisle are in, I’ll be rooting for BCFC.
Carlisle fan here couldn’t understand the Banks substitution Paul Huntingtons legs had gone (he is the best centre half in the league but at 35 years old extra time was going to be a problem) Banks had just ran passed him for the goal then Hughes took him off !!!!! I also couldn’t understand how Bradford was running the clock down in the home leg 1 0 was never going to be enough
Carlisle fan here great to see from the other side ,, to be fair we were better but you all kept going and singing ,, unlucky pal,,, think you be OK next season
@@jackbailey8916 your hated because you lot get all the media attention because of the big six while teams are suffering because they haven’t got 1 quid in bank also just a shite fanbase
Don't fancy either to bounce back. Wrexham and Notts County guaranteed top 2 next season with budgets they've got. This was the season to get out of this dreadful division.
City bottled it, Carlisle were by far the more positive team over the 2 legs they simply wanted it more and were prepared to extend themselves in order to get it, city never really got out of 2nd gear over the course of the 2 legs
What on earth was Hughes thinking bringing Banks off for Platt, was always asking for trouble and another reason which proves his is not the right man.
It was very difficult to work out Hughes tactics, other than hoof it up to Cook and the substitutions were baffling, it really did feel that the pressure overwhelmed everyone, players and management, great VLOG and your support was superb.
Said after the 1-0 we needed another goal. Hughes’s tactics were asking for trouble, it’s not just style or the Banks substitution but the fact this match was begging for Derbyshire to come on, but he left that until extra time. There will be a lot of people deleting their Twitter histories again like they did when there was no trace of any support for Derek Adams when he took over. The worse bit is that a City our size and the fan base it has deserves at least a club that occasionally gets relegated to League 1 not being stuck in League 2 and being happy with promotion to League 1. We had clawed our way back to the championship (almost) like other clubs of our size that suffered similar fates (Hull& Coventry City to name 2). But no, we have been stuck in the bottom tier let alone the bottom 2 tiers for an unacceptable amount of time since we were relegated from the Championship. At least Lawn & Rhodes had slowly repaired the damage and had us back on track. When will people finally get it that it doesn’t matter who the manager is, it is the ownership that is the problem. Just because Wagmi turned out to be terrible for Crawley doesn’t mean “better the devil you know”, unless you prefer to watch League 2 football.
Spot on. Got an owner who wants nothing to do with the club. Would sell us tomorrow if he could get his money back. Don't deserve the support they get. All this post game/season from the club we've reconnected with the fans rubbish. Talk is cheap and we've heard plenty of it this season about what this team was going to do. Came up short in virtually ually every big game.
One man army : Andy cook or nothing. Look at team like Leyton and Stevenage. Quality up and down the pitch. Carl Pigiani, TVC, Sweeney and Luther all quality. Up the pitch Jordan, Danny Rose, Luke Norris, Jamie Reid, they are not Andy Cook but they have chipped in collectively. You take Cook out of the season and you are looking at lower mid table or worst. Management need to go after the right players and build a team with equal quality and experience.
first of all i just want to thank you for a honest opinion on every match you go to and a enjoyable vlog. i did warn you of a local man named moxon way back when i think you predicted carlisle would finish 18th but after seeing this local lad in the pre season he just stood out from the rest. who would have thought that carlisle would have finished where we are and the season moxon had after being one of the lowest budgets in league 2 but simmo is a class manager . football is a very fine line where officials can ruin it but these past two games have produced two gates of 35,000 from two fine teams with great fanbase and to be honest it could have went either way . i just want to wish you well for next season and fingers crossed we wont be playing you . if we do im quite sure we will be both knocking on the door for promotion once again .
@@superbantam523 because you find some managers improve players sometimes academy players get unnoticed and was released by carlisle his hometown when 16 .he went away played part time ended up at annan while he worked for ups delivering parcels after a good season at annan and improveing under a ex carlisle utd player who is manager at annan peter murphy he was in the last yr of contract so carlisle was having him monitored and snapped him up. now to answer your question some championship teams have been knocking on the door already about him and im quite sure he will move on all depending on the price and if we win at wembley and go up . now i dont know where you have had your eyes and ears but all commentators and most teams talk highly of this lad about his energy and he can cross a ball on a sixpence and score goals . lots of players never peak till about 28 and lots end up playing alot higher later in there career. i could name plenty such players like glen murray who was playing for carlisle at 24 ended up at brighton and palace scoring 100 plus goals for each club at 27 onwards . maybe have a look at your own clubs history like cook for instance youll be surprised . if it wasnt for moxon on saturday you could have been maybe going to wembley yourself but he was the one who put it in on a sixpence and great players change games :)
@machupicchu232 great player, there are no great players in league 2 if they were they wouldn't be in this division :) with this world beater no point stockport turning up
@@superbantam523 wow your really having a problem understanding football aint you after seeing other comments from you i think its sour grapes . maybe on monday morning give hughes a ring and vent your anger out on him .im not saying hes a world beater im saying hes a really good player and he makes the team tick and he will be playing a few leagues higher in the future hes to good for l2 and maybe l1 . he sees passes what other does not just like bradford will have a player you thinks skillful and could play higher.
@machupicchu232 no sour grapes. You said great player, not me, and as I said, there are no great players in League 2 it is a really poor division, and that includes us and everyone else in it.
You were saying we were quiet all game when the Warwick was bouncing all game mate. Could barely hear you lot sing other than that. Only time you could be heard was your goal and tbf was limbs.
Hughes is not the right man. Takes no ownership for his mistakes. Says defeat not down to tactics, saying it to deflect away from his ridiculous subbing banks for platt
why do we insist on playing sideways and backwards when we are in possession... mark Hughes tactics for possession based football is shite to watch... get a decent manager in who doesn't want to play such negative football... carlisle deserved there win yesterday. they were far the beter side. and it looked like they wanted it more. CTID
Just what I saw from 4 games but Bradford look like a Keith Curle team. Average, 30 year old L1 players but lacking pace and flair. With the budget he has Hughes should do better
He's a dreadful player and awful captain. Not seen him all season lead/drag the team on. Legs gone happy to just pass backwards. Need a goal and you've got him passing backwards still.
It’s all Smallwood fault every time we go 1-0 up he tells everyone to slow it down take sting out of game which in my opinion is very negative and does not work u need to keep playing and score another
