The most painful part was when they were told to lose more weight. Finally someone like Kkura spoke out about the matter and, cuz beauty comes in many forms
I watched the first part where Zuha cries because she feels like a burden, and when you see how quick they are to comfort her, it's speaks volumes about them.
@hellohi-uy7wpzuha also said that there was so much language barrier and she was missing her family plus the added pressure of quick debut, it mustn’t have been easy. thankfully, now they’ve created a safe space for her where she can be vulnerable and express herself ❤
@@hellobye7697 oh really??? Lmao 🤣 🤣 I thought that's yunjin's fault , thnx for informing me !!!!!! I don't know what happend to yunjin in the past so I didn't get what the OG commenter was trying to say that's why I said i didnt get it , expecting the OG commenter to explain it , no one asked u , so yeah....................
Yunjin says “I missed my last opportunity” Yunjin…you didn’t miss your last opportunity. The world just wasn’t ready for you yet. Your potential you’ve live up to, and surpassed, is something special that not most people have in life. She will truly change K-Pop in the best way possible. I hope she continues on that path. She’s truly a musician and talent that is seldom seen within any musical sphere, especially K-Pop. The same goes for her members as well. They’re all so talented.
@@godsplan6137 Same. She wanna try hard, but she is too scared or afraid. I feel so bad for her. Why do people need to be so hateful. Idols have feelings, too.
A summary (for each member): Kazuha/Eunchae - Not used to the environment Sakura - External pressure, not seeing results, loneliness Yunjin - “Working out, or not?”, “What if?” Chaewon - In a drained state
@@zaynes5094 ouch on that part you mentioned about Eunchae. So for them both, its more of not used to the new I get it now. Thanks for the clarification!
Not gonna lie this hurts to watch. Shows exactly under which pressure those young idols are working on and more disgustingly is it to tell them to become even thinner in terms of weight. I know the standards in South Korea are different from other countries, but still that doesn't apologize this. Glad that Sakura spoke up about it. I hope those girls are having fun and become truly fearless.
I’m happy they brought it to the light. Seeing all this pressure on these girls from a early age to. I wish the best for them!! I’ll be listening forsure
It bothers me, girls have so many concerns about performance and training, now they also have to watch their weight cuz "if you're not skinny you're not pretty" if only they (specially company) would realized that they're beautiful the way they are and true fans will love them unconditionally
Unfortunately, k-netz will viciously bully and harass any idol who isn't skinny. Doesn't matter if they like the music or not. Korea is a very looks-oriented country. So while international fans will have no problem with an idol not being skinny and will even praise it, that doesn't really matter when they are getting thousands of Koreans insulting them for being over 50kg.
I love how their mentors really molded them into having better character and not just their skills or their looks. That to me is more important and why it shows in their success today.
the most heartbreaking thing is the fact that Garam was cut and erased from this whole thing as if she didn't also get in, train, and work hard to debut with the rest of them :(((
@luciaguo724 Do you not realize the amounts of pressure and the scrutiny the company themselves were also under? They had a spotlight put under their name for just being associated with her and those bs allegations. Soojin was also forced to leave G-Idle because of those similar dumb allegations. Yet the one difference was that Soojin was already established and had friends who backed her, despite her leaving on her own, and Garam had nobody on her side. Nobody spoke up for her. Nobody came to her defense.
@@zaynes5094 yeah and? Just because the company was under pressure doesn’t mean it isn’t heartbreaking that garam’s existence was completely ignored afterwards
This whole thing made me shed tears fr.. I feel so sad seeing them cry sometimes, just understanding that they have been through hard times and went through difficult decisions. I love them sm 😭❤
Here in support of Sakura, especially after taking the brunt of their Coachella fiasco first weekend. She actually out sang three other members. She sounded good but she was the one that felt the need to make a public statement about the performance. I used to consider myself a big fan of them(literally since their debut stage) but this most recent comeback, with lots of the things that have transpired, I have decided to enjoy their music but not invest a ton of energy into the group. But I feel bad that she's been the brunt of so many jokes. She has improved a ton. Go, SAKI!
it makes me sad to hear you say this. cause the only thing that sakura fears the most is being unloved by us, and you simply said you wont invest in them. so sad. i will forever be a fearnot, cause am a true fearnot, and i will forever support my girl miyawaki sakura, my ultimate bias. she deserves everything. and the fact that she wrote that statement to defend her other members always amazes me of how kind and loving she is to her members. anyways, live love laugh lesserafim. stream crazy album and perfect night. :)
Just coming back to this. Specifically, 6:13 -- about Sakura and her team's weight management. I hope people realize just how RARE this is for any group, let alone a just-debuting one. Even more amazingly, Sakura really is one of the only few people on the planet that could get away with making such a statement, since her words already held weight in the industry. Despite this being a HYBE documentary, the fact that this footage was released at all goes to show how much influence Sakura's words really held, and that at some point or another, these important words to truly take care of an idol's health were heard. Sakura may have single-handedly already changed the idol industry for the better with this one segment. And for someone who was barely just over 3 years learning Korean at the time, for her to have said this so fluently is nothing short of amazing.
When this video began,I realized why fimmies are so close to each other: they weren't told they were competing. They were told they're a family. Their dance trainer (?) told them to rely on each other with no hesitation. That's how you encourage some hopeless people. Great job hybe
I love how this shows us some of the real challenges it takes to be a kpop idol, it makes me relate to them more and show that we are all struggling one way or another
I knew that if I watched this I’d cry and here I am. There so strong and this video just made me even more proud to be their fan I will always support them if it means they’ll be safe and happy ❤️❤️
Sakura isn’t a bad singer, I genuinely like her voice when they have sung in live. They all seem to be nervous and that messes with your preformance, but again I like how she sings
It’s heartbreaking that garam worked as much hard as them but she never got awarded for her hard work instead she a victim of false accusations and cyber bullying and she was cancelled and kicked out of her group only 2 weeks after debut and hybe just erased everything about her as if she had never existed
@@tomaccino she was never a bully all of this was cleared almost 2 years ago where was you the school violence committee itself cleared her name what do you want more
This is why you we have to appreciate all idols they work so hard. Risking they mental and physical health. We have to protect them. especially my SsamaChae ❤ I don't want to see her cry again 😢
Crazy watching this a year later and how far they’ve come! I’m a relatively new kpop guy and this is the first group I’m really getting into but these girls have done leaps and bounds in such a short time frame. I’m glad they were able to overcome these adversities as a group. Couldn’t be prouder of our girls. LETS GOOOO😎
@@sarahy572 "THey Can't EvEn SiNG Live" Stop being such an idiot and let them f**k'n live. Three out of five are more than average singers, and I mean that as in Yunjin, Eunchae, and Chaewon. Sakura is average but sings way better in Japanese. Kazuha gets a pass because she's a rookie in terms of singing and she doesn't have to sing too much.
NO SHES NOT SHE NEVER BEEN A GOOD SINGER OMDS WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT? SHES ONE OF THE FREAKING BEST SINGERS EVER AND HER VOICE IS SO MESMERISING HOW COULD SOME IDIOT SAY TO HER SHE SOUNDS BAD EVEN HER VOICE IS SOOTHING LIKE ASMR BUT BETTER SHES NOT GOOD SHES HEAVENLY
I'm going through a tough phase at the moment, and watching these moments just rekindled that hope in me that everything will workout for the good. It will take time, but the key factor is one should not give up. After investing so much into what you're working for, irrespective of the results that come your way, you should never give up and just keep working for it. Thank you girls, you guys are truly a wonder. You deserve all the happiness and success.
girl sameeee, the only girl groups i have ever loved sooo much is girls generation, and now lesserafim too. they are so freaking loveable and their albums are so good.
What gets me watching these as a producer and someone whose ran some sessions. I'm assuming it was the producer who was helping Sakura with the emotion in her voice, I realised I need to do that when my performers are struggling. It's cool to see the process but I hate the KPOP process sometimes, well a lot of the time, there's only a few good things at this point.
The fact that Yunjin had tried to abandon her dreams before, went back to the states, applied for uni and PAID her tuition, and decided to once again try her best for another chance...... what that woman said was right, she IS the bravest person in the world.
Le sserafim went though a lot. A lot of trainees went through a lot. Le sserafim had very emotional times but they still got through all of that. Even with doubt they still tried soo hard. Now they are so successful and I love them so much. It’s okay to have doubt in yourself but they are just so brave to face anything. As a kpop newbie, I only know them for 1 year so I’m sorry if I say smth wrong. ❤❤
I feel so bad for the members especially sakura because they’ve been saying she’s a bad singer they criticized her for her voice and dancing I’m so late for this video but I know lesserafim is doing much better now 🥰
@@StrayKidttvabsolutely yes because she already failed so many times to become an idol and of course because she has that talents in her, and she has the chances to be an idol, so she chooses to be an idol
@@SunnyTopiaAs something of a Dreamcatcher fan, I can say for sure that outside of Twice, Dreamcatcher and Le Sserafim probably had the toughest individual roads to stardom. For Twice and Dreamcatcher it was through trials and many errors individually and as a group. For Twice, it was through a competitive show. For Le Sserafim, it was for wanting to get stronger and be better so they could be better as a group. For Dreamcatcher, it was the downfall of Minx and the devastation that they all felt when it fell apart. It made Siyeon question if that was what she even wanted anymore.
@@imfearnot2171 it the part of the contract. Since she isint a member of lesserafim anymore it is not legal to show her after terminating her contract. But I'm still sad though
I think because of the terminated contract so she isn't show, it's also a way to make less confusion to those new kpop fans, since it will give more problems for them and for Garam's safety since ofc the bullying accusation is a big problem for them
It's also for garam safety also, because at that time of the scandal have not yet been confirmed and as how knet is they would harass all the member also. It was for the best, that they had to edit her out
Bruh look at 5:13 to 5:35 this is crazy they look so tried and sad :( The members are very sweet and nice people in real life that crazy bruh i feel bad for them😢
Hi, I just want to share this :) "God is with you, and He will never leave you because He loves you." I am fortunate to have entered pageants. I always prayed before my competition because I know how powerful prayer is and this experience proves that God is constantly keeping an eye on you. I didn't think I was good enough to participate in the last pageant I entered. Making it to the Top 4 looked impossible to me, but God led the way that night, so I didn't stumble and I made it to the top 4. And now that I'm happy with what I have, I feel blessed and appreciative. My current role is to share my experiences of God's existence. Before it's too late, embrace Jesus. I am living proof that having faith is important; all you need to do is keep praying and keeping your faith in God, who can accomplish anything. Therefore, I encourage everyone who intends to join competition, surrender your plan to God first and begin to rely on His promises. God is real, and He loves us. #Christ_is_King Worship God, Who's in Heaven
It's all about weight. This was a fancy way of " body shaming". These girls are obviously below weight. So I am thinking, maybe they gained a few pounds. Instead of being 20 Lbs underweight they are now 15 Lbs. I have much more to say but I will shut up. Peace to all✌
Not Zuha, who built some muscle. Zuha like athlete. Some badminton athlete look skinny but they have muscle. Regular people who are not skinny cannot dance hard in 2 or 3 hours like them, so they more healthy than average people.
Bruh is this what they do in South Korea for idols to train. This is torturing by pressuring the members... but in the end they made it and now le sserafim is everywhere must have been hard for them . ❤
It doesn't seem right to watch a bunch of grown MEN tell a group of young females that they have to be skinny to be beautiful. They are beautiful just the way they are!!! Maybe those men are the ones who should go back and think about their actions!! Makes me angry!
These grown "men" have been in the industry for as long as youve been in school probably, so when talking about the fitness the appropriate weight or anything else of the matter they are the pros. You think everyone will agree with a statement thats as nice as yours, come on. There are some very harsh people out there who criticize these girls for what they look like, these company people are just trying to make these girls look their best. Just like the other groups in the industry. They need to understand that. Its not about being compassionate or being human towards them, theyre just telling them to look their best and do their best not exactly in that way but in a more harsh way so theyll have it set in their mind, theyve reached so far, working harder is the only way to maintain it.
7:28 yes, you will be more free if you become a commoner but it won't guarantee you happiness. at the end, it's the same. "there is no comfort, you just choose your burden" when you became an idol, there will be more people that will envy and hate you. But don't forget, there are more people that will support you. people will look up to you. that's the true meaning of an idol. an inspiration.
the way hybe was treating them made me feel sick but I understand that doing this is what it takes to be an idol. But even still, if this is what it takes, your definitely losing yourself and getting crushed to make sure you stay perfect
Well, You can look at it in a different way, without this kind of treatment these idols also wouldnt be able to fulfill their own dreams also, being an idol is one thing but an idol within a company that is as big as this will really take alot of courage and hardwork just like alot of things in life😊
I don't get it, what exactly did that man mean when he said that their self-management wasn't 100%? What I'm understanding is self-management = looks, but the girls look fit even pre-debut, i'm confused
He was probably talking about weight/dieting control/body management by the way Kura is talking about it here... Guessing some of the girls put a few extra pounds or their physical conditions dropped so their performances were not on par with what was expected
Self management is you do your own method to achive a goal. Example: your company set the target that you must sell 1000 items everyday but they don't care how you do it.
They should let them do what the need to do. Like Sakura, Yunjin, Eunchae, Chaewon, and Kazuha. Even Garam. They all worked hard and they still get pressured, I understand that they do it not so often, but still. They shouldn’t do that. I still can’t believe that they believed another girl than Garam.
honestly, I do think Hybe tried to protect Garam, but the situation was just too big, and after the termination of the contract, they could not use her image in the documentary
You guys can disagree/argue with me, but in all honesty, I refuse to believe that Hybe Labels is a good agency, although that’s what many people say. The reason is because they literally pay more attention to their newer groups than older groups, and also the fact that they literally failed Garam for her to debut then to get kicked out because a false scandal without having proof of anything. For real, Hybe shouldn’t have kicked her out in the first place. I blame both the company and those disgusting netizens that falsely accused Garam of bullying. I hope Hybe Labels regrets what they did to Garam, which why I now hate this agency
i believe it to not be Hybe as a whole necessarily, but the higher-ups. The ones with power and money. Agencies have always been run by the passionate, but the rich and unfeeling higher-ups profit of the blood, sweat, and tears of the people they work to death.
so you dont know how bad knetz is,for hybe to terminated garam contract is the best way to make her safety,if she stay longer in Lesserafim, and they still doing promotion, knetz will harassing her, curse her at the road of kbs building, throwing something, many bad thing can happen to her,you dont think about that? she still young and get a lot hate, and you still want her to meet many people at some event? you don't care about her mentality?. and Lesserafim? so they have to stop their promotion because of this scandal, yunjin who dream become idol for long time and for the last chance her group get cancelled after debuting, you just thinking about garam, but in the end this really affect many thing, and terminated her contract is the best way to save her.
the le sserfim hate train is so pused i feel so bad for the girls the things ppl are saying is having a toll on them as people its so sad to think that this is happing to them at there age its just worng
i know ppl are gonna hate on me for this comment but i think a lot of time has passed for me to say watching these moments and how much these girls struggled individually made me wonder if garam has any moments like this that could've been shown in the doc if she wasnt removed from the group and edited out. you can't help, but wonder what the members would be comforting n soothing her about. like if she felt like kazuha n eunchae, not used to the environment since she wanted to be an actress originally, or if she felt drained like chaewon, under internal pressure like sakura, stuck with what-ifs like yunjin... i really wish her the best.
Bruh these companies dont care about the members well-being but im glad they made it though and now le sserafim is famous even though they just debuted 2 years ago that crazy.❤
Thinking about it like this is just wrong. This is what people who want to be in this profession have to go through in order to reach where they are right now. Theyre fulfilling their dreams through alot of hardwork and dedication, do you see where they are now? Without this treatment and without showing them how serious theyre supposed to be then anyone wouldnt be able to reach the top, and these girls have.
