I think honestly the most painful part of the episode is seeing Joe witnessing his funeral and cremation. I agreed with P’Wut that no one should see their funeral let alone their cremation. I cried more for Joe than I did for Ming just because of that fact Joe is seeing it happen. The actor for Joe did an amazing job this episode along with the actor for Ming. The actor for Ming did amazing to capture that vacant look someone gets when grieving a loved one that makes them look like all the joy and life has been sucked out of their soul. From personal experience when I look at photos from me before my grandfather died and to right after he died I had the similar expression of the vacant stare.

I have such a love and hate relationship with Ming both in Novel and the series. For me i think the series did an amazing job putting this scene . Here we can see Ming's love and regrets for what he did to Joe. The scene is so heartbreaking both for Joe and ming. Both actor did an amazing job. No wonder BL fans around the world loving the series. One of the best BL series of 2024

Hiii. I like this scene so much especially that part where he just stayed motionless while looking at Joe's picture. Ming didn't even say anything but the way he looked, you could tell. You just know he can't believe this was all happening and this time it's real. He wants his Joe back. My head actually played a song for it. 😅 Can you please make an edit of that part of the scene and the song *Hold On* by Chord Overstreet? That still didn’t give Ming the right to treat Joe the way he did though and ultimately caused Joes death. I agree I felt bad for Ming because of how broken he was, but I felt worse for Joe in the episode. Joe should have replaced Tong in the movie but instead he ended up being blacklisted in the industry and died because Tong and Ming didn’t want him to have the opportunity. Only for Joe to come back in a different body to be put back into the same loop of being a stand in for two people. It was a big misunderstanding, but Ming should have treated Joe better than constantly reminding Joe that he is only a stand in for Tong through his words and actions.

Personally, I see it as if Ming and Tong didn’t let jealousy and obsession go to their heads then Joe never would have been put into that situation to begin with. Ming has even taken accountability for their actions a couple episodes go and said that if they didn’t do what they did then Joe wouldn’t have taken the job.

Honestly Joe should have stayed far away from his past life after how he was treated by everyone except for Wut and Sol. I was okay with him sneaking into his old home to get some belongs but after that he should have just decided to do something different in the new life. He likes to torture himself apparently so now he is repeating his mistakes in being tongs stand in and now a stand in for himself. I personally wouldn’t want to be with someone that was the catalyst for my death and rebirth. If Ming wasn’t so obsessed with Tong then Ming wouldn’t have kidnapped Joe which lead to him being blacklisted in the industry. If Ming had actually cared about Joe to begin with then he wouldn’t have stood in the way of Joe getting recognition for his work and opportunities. Ming decided that his one-sided love for Tong was worth more than Joes love and ended up being the cause for Joe doing that sketchy job that lead to him dying. I blame Joe a little for his death as well since he should have listened to Wut and not gone to the job so it’s not entirely Ming fault.

Ming character is really a complex one … he is not an open book where you can see he clearly hadn’t said his true feelings to Joe in the before episodes … Only in this episode he tried to express his love but Sol didn’t let him do that (I hate him so much for that , that red hair is really getting on my nerve) … His (Ming) character need a more exploration in the series like in the novel so people actually understand him and his past … I don’t care about what people think about Ming but for me I always had this feeling of knowing his character in depth before coming to the conclusion … The one who genuinely suffered after Joe’s death was MING I repeat it was only MING , others were moving well in their life and they showed their sorrow only when they came to know that Joe soul is still alive but Ming was the only one who haven’t gave up on Joe … Ming suffered for the past 3 years and his only hope was Joe will be alive somewhere and he came to know that the man he loved for a long time is NOT TONG BUT JOE (that time itself MING was died from both inside and outside - no one even cared about it like it’s also not easy to accept) … I know Ming deserve it but people should also look deep into his character too … Joe suffered the most in the series I hope he gets a happy ending soon without any sorrow in his life 😭💗

So true both deserve a happy ending as they have suffered a lot and no one should interfere in their matter not even Sol as he is a red flag as well and a manipulative person

@@ritagurola6145 I agree with you if no one interfere they can sort out the things … Till now Joe thinks Ming doesn’t love him first he need to know that ALL ALONG THE PERSON WHO MING LOVED FROM THE PAST YEARS WAS JOE 😭💗
